In this case I agree with SOM going on hold. It just had too many variations and paths. And to be quite honest it was an headache to manage all the paths in the game even from a player perspective, must have been an nightmare for the dev. And unlike a lot of other devs he seems to have learnt from his mistake. DLC seems to have manageable amount of paths and regular updates so far.
I know it's a joke but it better be a female protag game

I did think about this but sorry no, I'd have to have another story to occupy what you're doing at the office and I'm trying to keep the different paths there but to limit the amount of them and that's too big of a difference.Can we make her plead guilty and get half the time a man would?

The mising interpunction in this Game really annoys me. Also the Game has some consistency issues: When you leave the bar straight away you still dream of Stephanie even though you never met her! And before that, if you don't ask for her number you still think "getting her number makes up for the lost bet".

White Phantom What if there's a quick scene about her sharing a picture on the phone with him showing the same dog after giving it a kiss on the nose while wearing lipstick and they are commenting on it. Some guy goes by and screams "Bestiality!" so they turn around to burn him verbally so bad that he literally self-incinerates?

That shouldn't happen, I was sure I'd put a different dialogue there if you hadn't met her so I'll check this, the same with the dream, you should default to Jenna if you haven't met Steph or gone to Ellie's insta pics, it shouldn't default to Steph. Ok good to know the reasoning behind the stop and SoM. I liked all the school and family stuff, and hated all that secret agent stuff. There where some nice possible storylines (all the teachers, the drug/pill problems ..., all the girls..). Maybe you can use that stuff in a game ... without the blown up stuff about Dusk and all that ...
