Well he talked about it, but didnt bring up her name. So it isnt relevant to put two and two together. Also had MC said Josy, it wouldn't register to Derek that it was the same Josy. For all he would know it would just be two girls having the same name.
Situations like this happen, where if a friend is dating a girl the name of the girl doesn't come up until it might actually be relevant.

Knowing Dr Pink this theory has high chances of being true..., this time he might let us have a 3some with main girls but i don't expect anything further than that, or maybe a beginning of a triangle and them things go bad, and i can see this with Josy+Maya, maybe Sage+Quinn with her being your lover, but Bella+Jill? i really can't see this one happening

Yep Bella would put a stop to that. She doesn't seem like the time to be cool with hurting Jill's feelings doesn't matter the situation. HOWEVER....remember that Jill had a picture of Bella. If Jill has some feelings for Bella, we could get something going that way.

I mean you are pledging a fraternity, you gotta take the good with the bad of the game. Personally I love the DIK guys because their antics with Hazing is just that. You can tell there is some deeper shit, but the fraternity is the core of the game so they are gonna be around.

Again there was no reason for him to say her name. As an example, when I was in the military, if I was going on leave, I told my squad members that I would be visiting friends back home, not that I was visiting my friend chad or visiting my friend stacy. Simply because the name doesn't add anything relevant to them for conversation. they aren't gonna know nor remember the names they are just gonna remember that I was visiting friends.
Also remember Derek isn't that smart. He is a great dude. But he won't put 2 and 2 together like that.

He and Derek are like Bros though they would pretty much share that sort of stuff with one another as guys we like to brag and Derek would surely ask questions about this or at least show him a picture of her or something. Give him a bit more credit than that he is a lot smarter than he looks the idiot in him I'm pretty sure is a bit of an act.

Well I said before at this point assuming that Dr. Pinkcake doesn't have something with a twist plan there are 4 paths that you as an MC can take.
1 on 1 relationship with josy - Upset Maya leading to her getting over it elsewhere
1 on 1 relationship with Maya- Upset Josy leading to her getting over it elsewhere
MC helps them through their relationship- they stay together, MC finds someone else to romance
Because they both have feelings for MC and some for each other, MC helps mend their relationship, but they have a threeway relationship.
I expect theses to all 4 be options in the game potentially. since they are all logical conclusions for the MC to decide on, depending on the path you choose.
