Maya has a free bed in her room,it was matter of time for someone to move in,the script wanted that someone to be Josy
Josy being admitted to college had also been assigned a bed at the dorm,check sentence above.

Someone mentioned here a while back the fact, that the major arch will be MC´s strugle with relationships. The fact that the girls could have lied, can jump start their own redemption archs and let us dive deeper into MC´s past. The fact that Bella and Jill know some of it, can serve as catalyst to realize Jossies and Maya´s own mistakes. Either repair the relationship with each other and by extention MC or end it. (Character growth 101 ) And the best part is it can be applied to all main characters.

Or their fall from grace, redemption depends on the actions on the MC, Episode three introduce a new item on the shelf aftr the strip club, a red lollipop on Maya's bookshelf.

there will be more drama with this triangle than anything else in the next update it will only be second to the Bella stuff though
The Dev always has Quinn sucking on that lollipop in episode 1 and 2, then when you converse with Bella in the cafeteriia Quinn appears in the background eyeballing the MC sans lollipop and in a new outfit with a clear message on it for the Player written upon it.That's what the dev wants you to think
