UPDATE: NEW WEEK… Working on same FREAKING Chapter – August 12, 2019

Well, as the preview image and the title states, I can’t show off the latest work on the game “publicly” due to its really adult nature and I am still working on ‘Chapter Two’ of the darn thing (for F95 Members just Scroll down to the bottom of this post to see it)… but, I am nearing the end of it…
…thankfully.
As you can see by the updated Twine File, there are a LOT of different directions that you can go and take during ‘Chapter Two’ and both Epadder and Sierra3 have already been working behind me to take care of all of the programming, grammar and spelling corrections, as well as, side images, sounds and music.
Currently, it has over 700 renders and so far over 20,000 words and way more animations than ‘Chapter One’ had… and a sample animation can be previewed behind our paywall for $1 and up patrons; sorry… but don’t want to get our page shut down by showing adult action. *wink*
Depending on your choices during gameplay, will determine what sort of sex scenes that you will be able to unlock and what kind of relationship and stat points that you can earn and generate for the characters before we transition into the ‘Main Game’… so know that your choices are going to matter and count, as well as, establish those characters and personalities for when you meet them in the ‘Main Game’!!
Also, depending on your choices, you can count on ‘Chapter Two’ having such things as exhibitionism, humiliation, public sex, forced/coerced (skippable) sex, manipulation, defloration and, unlike ‘Chapter One’ that had F/F action, this chapter will have M/F action for you!
I really kind of went overboard on this chapter and, once you’ve played it, you’ll see why we came to the conclusion that using Sprites for the ‘Main Game’ is going to save us a lot of time, allow us to produce more on a much shorter time table (story/dialogue wise), giving me much more time to work on producing the sex scenes and animation for the game.
My goal will ALWAYS BE to produce the BEST game possible for all of you, while also finding ways to make it so that you don’t have to wait so dang long between releases… because that kind of bugs me having to make all of you wait.
I know that many of you have expressed your patience and support of me taking the time that I need to provide the product for you, which I appreciate sincerely, but still… I hate making all of you wait…
…it also is a pain-in-the-butt for me to keep working on the same chapter every day, makes me feel like I’m not getting anywhere and stuck in a rut… so, yeah, got to find ways to move the story forward without long hours of work.
Speaking of which, I best get back to it… want to see if I can finish the remaining animations and work this week if possible, for all of you.

I don’t think a whole lot needs to be said about the above animation, with the exception that it is only one of MANY animations that you will get, depending on the choices that you will make…
…in fact, depending on them, you might get a variation of this animation, not even get this animation or just get to the really, really good stuff…
My goal was to make it so that your choices actually really mattered and will help to establish these characters that you’ll be able to meet and interact with in the ‘Main Game’, so if you decide to make them complete douche’ bags by your choices in this Chapter, you can expect that they will be douche’ bags in the ‘Main Game’.
So, be sure to know that the choices that you’ll make today… will very much likely affect you tomorrow in the other game.

UPDATE: Making Progress & Gaining Speed… - August 19, 2019

Hello everyone, hope that this finds you all well and that things are going good for you!
It’s that time again to give you an update on the status of things and share with you what has been going on around here… so, let’s just dive right in, shall we?
As you can see by the Twine file, I am just about finished with TWO of the choice arcs that is possible for you players and then I need to then focus on the other SIX… which are somewhat similar events just with different outfits, possible outcomes and stat changes for the characters.
I REALLY made this dang chapter TOO BIG!!
To put it in perspective, for those who played our first game “Wicked Choices”, you know that when completed that game had just a little over 4,000 images, maybe 3 little animations and over 166,600 words… THIS CHAPTER, right now, has nearly 1,000 images and 21 NOT SO LITTLE animations so far and a little over 20,000 words so far!!!!
And I still have 6 more arcs to complete!
So, yeah, I might’ve gone a little overboard here and miscalculated the time needed to complete this…. But… BUT… it is REALLY FREAKING GOOD STUFF!!!
It is POSTIVELY OOZING with all manners of JUICY content for all of you to unlock and explore… I just need to finish it for you. *sigh*
Once I’ve completed this chapter, have gotten it into your hands and you’ve played it a few times, I think we all need to discuss ways in which we can speed up production, so we aren’t keeping you waiting for a freaking release, and still allow me to provide you with the quality product that you will be seeing from this chapter… WITHOUT it taking so long to get it to all of you…
BUT… that will be a conversation for all of us to have once you’ve had “Chapter Two” of the prologue to “Adventures of a Changed Boy” in your hands, that you’ve played it for a bit and tried all of the different routes, paths and seen all of the HOT content.
Till then, know that we are working on this as HARD as we can (in more ways than one, if you get my drift), both Epadder and Sierra3 have been working on the programming side, testing the current progress and adding the music and sounds, all while testing things as I keep adding the rest of the work to it… so, HOLD TIGHT, IT IS COMING!!

Yes, that is one thing that we've been talking about, we've also been talking about switching to doing sprites now (rather than waiting to do so for the main game) for the dialogue areas... cause we ALL know how I like the characters to talk and talk and talk and talk! LOLWell you might just see if you can make the divergence smaller on paths and make them come together more so you can use the same assets for those scenes, unless you learn a way to just make small changes in scenes without making new renders.
But, figured after the release of this chapter all of us here can discuss some options that might help to speed things up for us and you.

The sprite approach is the best that i can conceive of at this moment. As verbose as you are (or are accused of ) i signed on because of the writing. I like, EVERY, fan of anything I do not want to wait one millisecond longer than I must, but I want(need) your world to be spread before mine eyes. Sorry took so long to respond, bud, things have been pretty wacky here... will be making a post about it over the weekend, but yeah, I think the Sprite approach will probably speed things up a lot for me, particularly when it comes to large sections of dialogue... but that will be a conversation to have with everyone, once I've finished this chapter and gotten it into people's hands...
With or without HAL we'll get this done!
Someone can explain me what is the "Sprite approach" ? Is it something about the programming, story telling, workflow ?
Fairly certain it's being able to use a series of pre-rendered images with variations of expressions, body language, for dialog sections, as opposed to having to render each dialog section as custom scenes, saving those for 'action' scenarios.

That tis a very good way to put it, for I what I understand. For when not doing an action scene, A series of visages may(are?) needed for a complete scene. Which also allows backgrounds to turned to templates(?) thus render times are for a background and a series of character actions instead of a complete scene for each possible reaction in dialogue. If mine shallow understanding does cover the principles. Or my verbage is coherrent.

PLEASE… READ THIS TO IT’S CONCLUSION, AS THERE IS AN IMPORTANT CHOICE FOR YOU TO MAKE AT THE END OF THIS!!!
Have you ever had a time in your life, that you seem to be going nowhere and all that you are doing is barely holding on? That precise moment when it seems that life is only interested in repeatedly kicking you in the nutsack whenever you try to make any kind of headway?
If you haven’t, my dear friends, take it from me, consider yourself fortunate.
I… not-so-much.
Lately, my entire freaking existence these past few months seem to be an endless number of apologies from me to you as I feverishly toil and work on this damn chapter and try to hit one deadline, after the next that I set for myself to get this game into your hands.
While it looks great, according to the testers and people who’ve sampled it to make sure that I am doing it right, this stupid thing is HUGE!!
TOO HUGE!!
In reality and perspective, it would be like me trying to release Chapter Four, parts 1-5 of “Wicked Choices: Book One” to in ONE MONTH… but also with animation as well.
Honestly, I don’t know what I was thinking by trying this… except I wanted to give to you the very best that I could give, something to WOW you with, something that might surprise and encourage others to give us a shot and become our patrons… and all I seem to be doing is working my ass off, day after day and apologizing from one week to the next as I scramble to get this thing freaking DONE!
I entertained the idea of providing to all of you what we have done thus far (which is a CRAPLOAD), but releasing it half-assed and unfinished would take away from the experience I wanted to give to you by doing this…
…I am exhausted, tired, frustrated… and I am sick to death of only apologizing to you week after freaking week.
AND… and, just when I think that LIFE couldn’t get any suckier for me… LIFE pulls back her foot and delivers another wonderful kick… right into the testicles!!
Case in POINT…
Returning home from work on Friday the 16th, the wife comes home and tells me that she thinks she needs to go to the hospital… that her female parts were bleeding a lot.
So, I save what I am working on, put the computer in sleep mode and spend the next 9 hours with her in the emergency room… when all of the tests are completed, we get the news we didn’t expect and, honestly, needed several days to kind of digest…
…that during the ultrasound, they discovered that there was a large “mass” in the left adnexal region abutting the left aspect of the uterus measuring at least 8x6x6 cm in size…
I am the one in the family that is FUBAR… disabled, broken, falling apart from degenerative spinal disease… my wife has been my ROCK, the one who cares for me after every damn surgery that the doctors perform to make sure that I can keep walking, talking and breathing… the person, with whom I love MORE THAN LIFE ITSELF is in TROUBLE and I’ve never been more scared in my ENTIRE FREAKING LIFE!!!!
Those who are my brothers-in-arms, here, know that I’ve faced some screwed up stuff overseas… that I’ve done and seen things that would truly frighten any man… but NEVER IN MY LIFE, even when I thought that I might’ve had prostate cancer last year, have I EVER been as frightened as I was when we got that news and as I am right now!
Me… I know, even when we thought that I might’ve had cancer, that the disease that I have will have me going the way of the dinosaur ‘before my time’… as callous as it may sound, I am good with that, prepared for it… been anticipating it happening, as has the wife… but NEVER ever, ever, EVER considered a scenario that would possibly have my wife leave before me!
It was an incalculable equation that I never considered or thought possible.
But… here we are.
So, the past week, we’ve been seeing a lot of doctors and she’s been undergoing a lot of tests and she is scheduled for an MRI and CT Scan on this Thursday. The blood panels that her OBGYN ran, specifically for cancer, THANKFULLY has come back mostly normal with only a slight elevation on one of the markers… we will know more on Friday, after her scans and have heard back from the doctor…
I am NOT telling all of you this as an EXCUSE… I am STILL working on the game, both Sierra3 and Epadder can attest to the fact that I am… right now, as freaking frustrated as I am with this damn chapter, it is perhaps the only thing right now that is keeping me somewhat sane and hovering over my wife, nervously wringing my hands in fear and worry, when she gets home from work.
NOR am I telling you this as a SOB STORY to ask for handouts… the wife has a GOOD job, with time saved up and when it comes time to remove whatever the frack this is from her, our insurance will cover it and her job will keep some money coming into the household.
THE REASON, I AM TELLING YOU THIS IS… because you have a CHOICE…
“Chapter Two” of the prologue to AoaCB WILL be coming out… but it won’t likely be till sometime in September at least… it is NOW August 26, 2019 and soon Patreon is going to start CHARGING all of you for the next month…
I am not going to LIE… I count on the money that I make here and so does Epadder and Sierra3, so pausing the support here, while I am still working on this game and all of this crap is going on is NOT an option for me… SO, I am going to leave it up to YOU if you wish to remain a supporter of ours!!
IF you wish to leave, I will understand and NO HARD FEELINGS!!
I PROMISE YOU that I will deliver “Chapter Two” to EVERYONE who has been supporting us these past few months since the release of “Chapter One” so you will STILL get the next chapter even if you wish to cancel your pledge… I made a PROMISE to you that I would deliver it and I WILL keep that promise!!!!
For those that choose to stay with us, I SINCERELY appreciate it and, again, apologize for constantly seeming to beg your forgiveness for what seems like forever now… I appreciate you and your continued support and we won’t let you down and will keep grinding away on this story till its conclusion and beyond (God willing).
