last version ended same place. only change seems to be the version number and that certainly didn't take all the time since may.
so glad this is not one of my pledges or I would be somewhat ticked off for waiting so long for an empty promise.

I get to the part where I open my unlocked door to find someone and the game simply does not continue. Tried starting over and gets to same point and nothing. Suggestions?

There is a fix posted HERE


From what I understood the developer used the same refrence for two of the scenes in Day 8 and in renpy coding it jumps to the latest reference and hence skips lots of content along the way.

You should see new scenes (but no choices to make, hence walkthrough wont be updated).

Actually, yes there will only be 2 updates till it's finished. But we won't stop here, it's only one game and it's been going on for a year and a half, it was always planned to get to V1.0 and end, we are trying our best to make an awesome ending.
After we finish this one we are going to put all of our focus and experience on Roommate From Hell (which is our second game focused more on demonic creatures (hot demonic girls )) making it even better that Soul of the paintings.

Wow that was weird ending. I play both the part of the mc and Alex.
I dont know why the devs have to make it weird with the supernatural.
The story is so good it doesnt even need that. All it does it makes us think of a way to avoid it.
When id the next version?
