Personally I don't think was was any specific developer, I've seen complaints about too much incest in these games over the past few weeks. The ones complaining in these forums or other places are more than likely the ones that got patreon on the offensive with this type of stuff when they cant get a game content tailored to their taste...so they act like a child, like if they cant enjoy it then it shouldn't be allowed.
Hell...it could even be a pissed off parent that caught their 16yr old son/daughter playing a porn game with incest since there is no real way to prevent anyone under the age of 18 from playing.
Or that said child used mommy and daddy's credit card to pledge for the game and they checked it out lol. It could be a number of things but I still think its the ones that don't like incest or any of the other banned fetishes that got it started.

It does get better, but it also somewhat uneven. My impression was that it was intended to be a voyeurism game with elements of NTR (although people will debate that last part), and fan pressure evolved it to more of a regular incest game. If you keep playing, there will probably be some parts that will make it worth your effort.

But the pacing of the sex is a major issue for the game. As I've said before, and will say again, the current game should be given a proper ending, and then rebooted using everything DS has learned in the last year to make a game that has a story that can last for years without feeling drawn out.

Create an event to reveal that max is not "blood related" with his mom and sisters, that's all? And you and your players will be happy. For example You can create an event where max find that his biological mother is in fact the first wife of his father, you can even use Vicky. So people will "forget" this, and on your side you will be happy also.
Stop introducing new protaganists to avoid fucking Ann and Lisa !!

Also, consider the fact Olivia's mom means possible mother/daughter incest with Max as the meat in their sandwich.

IMO it's pretty easy to understand why he's doing this, he knows everyone wants Ann so he's going to drag it while he can.

Anything is possible, just look at the spider event for Alice you can start that at day 37, so bringing in Olivia mom could start soon after Max gets Olivia as a GF.

And shopping, I don't remember what day it is but just after day 22 Max gets to leave the house and go shopping with the girls, sure he wont get anything until he gets it at home but he still gets to leave the house early in the game.

So in your personal opinion which is 'the best'? I've seen some which have potential or are decent. Superpowered is a decent game as is wheras two sides and man of the house show potential. Dreams of Desire would definitely be number one in terms of story although at times it does go off the plot as well. Big Brother has taken the cake in terms of consistency and finding away to integrate sex or some form of it in an early release, it marketed what it was gonna contain early on and kept people hooked for the rest - hence why it has the largest fan art community atm. The family all have really good renders and the fact that everyone hated him at the start added that extra satisfaction of smashing them or trying to.

BB has the larger fan art community only because he uses stock 3D models just about anyone can use to render scenes with...Including other game developers. It's also likely why we barely get to see a pussy in this game because those stock models don't come with Vaginas you can render.

My favorite game on Patreon would have to be the Twist. Decent story (although he has not progressed the "Who is my Parent" arc in quite a while...). The only knock people have on it is the Models are not rendered in as high a quality as they are in BB because they are rendered LIVE on the GPU with animation not static renders that take a few hours to do which is why you only get 4 or 5 per scene in a game like BB. It has very good gameplay, the greatest variety of sex acts, and is a much more plausible story than anything in BB. The fact you can move the perspective and pick the camera view gets you angles and hardcore views that you will NEVER see in a game like BB. All Animated and goes so far as to show you dripping creampies!

For Story, you mentioned DoD which is very good and well done. Dreaming of Dana also pretty good as far as an Incest story is concerned. The Gift was another that I found interesting but it is similar in regards to Magic being the key to getting what you want. Not really an Incest trope more of a control sim. If you like the Magic angle I also suggest taking a look at Lust Town.

For Gameplay variety you have to give props to My New Life, despite all the bugginess and cartoonish PAWG characters,it has the most variety of puzzles and challenges (Way more than Eric ever provided!) If it wasn't for the fact (Engine) that you spend 3/4ths of your time walking from neighborhood to neighborhood and the frequent crashing this game would probably be the most complete game on Patreon. Especially those who claim just having sex in a sex game is a bore! (Yes that is a swipe at the NTR/Eric fans!)

As far as BB goes the only thing that has been consistent is the code stability from version to version and the lack of any real sex, an HJ or BJ is about all you got for the first 6 or 7 versions. I have pretty much seen all the sex in this game and I have yet to really see a Penis enter a Vaginia. Closest has been seeing one enter an anus in the Anal Training. I have seen more hardcore sex on ABC, Cinemax and Showtime than appears in this game. I attribute that to his use of Stock Models which means add your own genitals which then become even more difficult to render into sex scenes where penetration can be showed.

And finally as far as Incest Genre is concerned I have to give the story award to Dreaming of Dana as it has a ton of romance and build up. Doesn't require Magic, Bribery or Leverage to get her (Just be sweet). If it was created in a better engine it would probably be more popular.
