I have my two saves (warrior and scholar) and am happy with the results, and not interested in playing different routes within the route...
Scholar - won the chess game, acted scholarly, and made out with the married blonde !! Perfectly happy with how that went... not interested that much in french girl, if anything I want MC to tame the "spaniard" girl that has attitude.
Warrior - made FreyFrey blush, agreed to combat, started defensive, and then just went apeshit on her ass !! No Regrets !! I am not one of those "Ohh I like her cause she isnt conventionally pretty, instead a bit of tomboy, breath of fresh air" types... ewww... I like her, but I loved MC beating her face in enough that I am ok with not having MC kissing her...
Also super curious, that "warrior" that submits the MC after he goes beserker is throwing off my "radar"... its a Mulan type character isnt it ? A woman pretending to be a man ? Her fight style is not dependent on strength, instead she is using jujitsu to wear-out the stronger MC rather than fisty-cuffs like FreyFrey attempted...

You don't know how happy I am to read your opinion on Freydis. I must admit I was secretly anxious to be accused of promoting violence against women or something to the extent :x But what you wrote (and the absence of such accusations so far) confirm that I succeeded in conveying the right feeling
Regarding the spaniard, Zaina, I hope you've seen the scene where your MC promises to do just that

Mainly the names, but the next release will also see the two sides we couldn't see the first time: a scholar on Freydis' ship and a warrior on Gudrid's (I'm currently writing the Warrior Gudrid part -or "wg" in my file-, and I'm having a bit of fun already). This is as ACIO as can be

That being said, I understand what you mean, and Olaf's skin has been bothering me a bit, especially since I've spent quite some time changing Addie's skin in-between versions. To me, his face is okay but the body itself could be better. So who knows...
Its not blatantly obvious if that is his sister or not, and i did not come across that in the game, and as such, conveniently forgot it was among the preview pictures.

Great update, had a lot of fun playing it, love this Viking setting and the characters are pretty cool, specially Frey. Cant wait to see whats coming next for this story. Keep it up the good work dev!

I have been busy this past week, but I can't really show you the result of this as this is mainly writing time for me (and not so much time, what with the festivities and such).
As of this moment, I'm working on what I call the B plot, which consists of Warrior Gudrid and Scholar Freydis parts. As some of you may know, I intend to have the game last 7 chapters, with each chapter being quite longer than a simpler update and filled with determining choices. Replayability is a big part of what I try to achieve, and this is how I found it best to divide the story. Rest assured that I have the main pivot points of the story, and that it will be quite different depending on your choices.
For the sake of finally releasing what I worked on, I divided the first chapter into several releases, but the plan has always been thus:
Introduction - from the flashback part tp the choice of a ship to board.
Part 1 - divided into 4 paths: WF, SG, SF and WG, which you understand now stand for Warrior and Scholar first, then Gudrid and Freydis. Each path should have a different feel, and I wanted scholar types to be able to pursue Freyfrey, and vice versa with Gudrid.
Interlude - One for each ship, with some difference regarding the path chosen, of course, but this should be done fairly quickly as it should lead to the other main scenes.
Part 2 - Right now, this is divided int 2 paths, one for Gudrid's ship and one for Freydis'. Can't give you the name of each path or the surprise will be gone, I have not yet decided to divide it also into Warrior and Scholar, but this could be done anyway if I find the right angle.
Conclusion - a short chapter ending.
The thing is I have several more ideas to implement in this chapter that couldn't be used for chapter 2, but I don't know yet how well it would fit with the rhythm of my original narrative plans.
For the next release, I intend to at least finish the SF and WG parts as well as the interludes, so it wouldn't take too much time.
Oh, and here, have a pair of cold bitches, because it's winter

Does anyone else have a problem downloading the Mac version from MEGA? It downloads but then says MacOs cannot open this file.
