Yeah, inspired the idea. I will probably make a “returned” clothes poll after a month or two so players will have a chance to pick something from the collection which took the 2nd place in previous polls.

Whoa, someone was definitely influenced by . Probably also various bits and pieces of R. Talsorian's old Cyberpunk 2020 and its (sometimes very neat) art.

Hello! wave is up for grabs - don’t forget to claim it! Now, let’s see what happened during this week.

Gai Noob is working on the H scene and you can expect the first preview to pop up after the New Year, in January. I prepared the narrative part and it turned out pretty damn hot. “Risky breeze“ dress is also in progress on a detailed sketch step. We have a chance to see it finished in December if there will be no more fixes but January sounds more realistic.

As for my part, I’m mostly occupied with v0.1.5 story narrative and maps for it. This time players will see the big bad guy in action, actively opposing his plans. Will you succeed? We’ll see…

Kira’s arsenal will expand with more combat implants and more interesting melee options. Since her energy reserves are more geared towards healing and defense, I want to offer a more aggressive approach with EN-consuming skills. These will use melee attack for damage calculation and reinforce high subtlety builds with pistols and SMGs with more offensive options.

Resized the ”Horny Bunny” scene to use 4k resolution textures on par with other H events. Since it was the first animation, I made for the first version of Live2d plugin, texture size meant a lot because all scenes loaded up during Ouro’s start. Now, I switched the logic to work ”on-demand” and graphic size is not an issue.

Placed a shimmering orb on Kira’s PC to mark it as an interactive object since some players had problems figuring this out.

I made a big typo and grammar cleanup for all content up to this point and was amazed at the number of dumb errors that got it. Sorry for the possible inconvenience during gameplay.

Also, I added floating icons to dialogue scenes where get items or weapons like Freak’s initial scene, hacking Wrench’s notebook for the first time and so on. This way you can’t miss the new item.

Adjusted system effects’ sound volume to on the same level across the board and changed confirm and cancel sounds to a more neutral option.

Good update, both new clothes are really beautiful and the missions, especially the secondary one, are funny. Wait for more.
P.S. Yeehaw Games i recently got the scavenger skill by acquiring goods, what benefits gives to you ? Is it simply increases the amount of material gathered or have/will have further bonus ?

Yes, it gives you extra materials while scavenging. You can check the skills' info in the "Skills" tab. There are several categories, including passive skills you get from software packs and different activities like scavenging.

Now that shows some decent potential. Art is brilliant, mechanics work fine and story is interesting so far. So far it's too early to really judge how it will go but it's definitely worth observing.

I found the same thing and walked in did a bit of messing around and then pretty much walked back out and left it, I hate these sort of puzzle games, personally I would rather spend time wandering around the location finding the key to it.

As Kira mentions during your first dive into the system, security algorithms accept commands only of a certain pattern. Your task is to figure it out. The first step should be just messing with the puzzle until a green light pops up. Then understand why it did so. After this just, apply the same principle to the rest of the rows and columns.

The puzzle has more than 1 correct solution so understanding its logic will pretty much solve it entirely. It's not hard, believe me.

Why, yes, the screenshots and H scene previews are real game material. I'm still puzzled why people are so surprised by the artwork... Yes, some authors actually care about the art :>

The error then repeats in a pattern from Kira_Blowjob_early to _med to _late, etc and the error will continue to pop up after clicking retry. It goes on even Menu is brought up. This is from Android version.

Notes taken during gameplay:
1. Just wondering, are Kira, Alice & Gadget all drawn by different artists?
2. In reality, rats don't run toward human anymore so having sewer rats hunting down Kira, I still feel odd.
3. Customizing weapons are fun, but we need more credits to test out everything in one go. (Save & Load works it out)
4. No choices for Kira during the slum site, a bit odd that we can't choose to shoot the drug maker//the cook or not while we can make Kira to give out blowjob as endurance training.
5. We have the change of look after the major mission, and a sportwear in the shop, will those have anything to do with the missions in the future or are they just to be there for us to dress up poor Kira?
6. Voiced but not really VA (also whatever used as Voiced, does not match the lines), will it be VA at all?
7. I am being lenient on the animation, so...okay.
8. I still find the hacking process very confusing, perhaps the hacking exercise can provide more explanations and a step-by-step rundown (though I cracked the number safe one in 1 min. No joke, that one is logical and easier to solve than hacking)

It's too early for a proper review yet, I will keep an eye.

Really loved Yorna and this game seems very promising, really like the cyberpunk style.

But one thing (for me personally, as I know many others like it) is very disappointing : that's the animations. I really don't like animations in these type of games, if I want animations I'd watch hentai. Really hope there's gonna be a "disable animations" option later on.

Other than that, game is fun and the weapon modding looks very interesting.

Yes, that's my bad. Made the hotfixed version, you can get it here – | Also, I updated my post and pinged the mod to update the topic. Only Android version was affected by this problem.

As for your questions:

1) Yes, these characters were drawn by different artists. At the moment, it's impossible to have dedicated artists for all the art in the game to preserve the same style. It's a bit unrealistic with one-man-band capabilities and freelance artists.

2) Ouro's rats are mutants - Freak mentions this when he suggests to use them as target practice. After WWIII, some creatures mutated due to radiation and pollution so the reality isn't always relatable.

3) Well, the customization process is designed to be more of a trial and error process. You can mod your gun, run a mission and think of a different approach that will require a different weapon and/or mods for it. Players will get more options later in the game so it's not a one-shot, more like a continuous process.

4) I thought about it. The choice there would be rather irrelevant since it's a crucial point in the story so it would affect the closest 2-3 lines of dialogues. I don't like this system. The alternative is to write a different story based on this choice. Realistically speaking, it's not viable and most often such branches end up in a quick bad end.

Imagine if J. R. R Tolkien made visual novels instead of books. What if Frodo refused to take the ring? If such a choice would have meaning, the author would need to write another story for this outcome. If Frodo would do it a bit later than the original route, it would have no meaning.

Ouro already has choices both in dialogue options and gameplay approach and I will expand these with time via romance and other tools. Yet I don't like meaningless choices and don't want to use them in the game.

5) Clothes won't affect missions in any way. Later in the game, you will get combat armor that affects Kira's subtlety. Some H scenes will use clothes too.

6) So far, I only planned to use voice effects during H scenes. I don't plan to use full voice cover but perhaps I will consider it at later goals.

7) Thanks. What aspects didn't you like about it?

8) Hmm, why not. Doubt I'll have the time to do it in v0.1.5 but an expanded hacking tutorial seems like a nice idea since some players have problems with it.

And one more suggestion I missed, the icon on Android looks like a RPGM logo ripoff. Just consider this as a finishing touch//lowest priority task.

As for the animation, I assume your team does not have unlimited resources; good quality animations require a huge amount of resources, and frankly the current quality is...let's just say "okay" but definitely will need more resources to go beyond "okay".

Personally, more resources pouring in for better character arts, designs or other aspects seems like a better idea. For a good animated porn game, it requires full VA coverage and full animation (VNs mostly with full animation, some are quite popular and get full 30mins animation published). Most of the animations//cutscenes in common RPGs are either a show-off of rendering effects or a dramatic/memorable/intense/action-heavy scene that is best shown/portraited via animation; hence animations in erotic RPG games are more or less a gimmick (like battle sex animations from OneOne1, they are there, but just not fappable quality; Emiliana by White Moor has amazing level of battle sex animation). And like what the other member has commented, go for hentai if we want animation. When you have a good story, beautiful CGs and some coverage for VAing, you still get to create a series of ~30mins long Hentai animation as spinoffs (like how some well-known developers did) in the future to show off how talented your animation team can be when fully funded.

So I am okay with the animation and I will be...okay just like that. Or just discard everything I have typed above and say: Good job, animation team!
(TL;DR: the 1min long repeating h-scene animation doesn't make the game better; better CGs//character arts/design//unique gameplay mechanics etc. will make this game much better)

I liked the first 0.5 version so much that i will skip this actual version because i want to play it with even more content :) Just keep up the good work. I mean you guys made YORNA and i had really much fun playing this game too, so - please continue :>
