Yeah, I gotta agree with Watcher. I was enjoying the game a lot more when it was just a straightforward ntr/cuckold relationship story. It's Typist's game and they can do whatever they want, but I am disappointed with what the game is becoming.

I normally hate harems but when you throw a succubus in it's always fun.

The rest of us might like a little realism in our story, even if it's a fantasy story.

I have to agree as well, but will have to wait and see how these fantasy elements are incorporated into the story. I'm a little skeptical. Part of the appeal of Because I love Her for me was the realism of the story and believability.

Of course the models are great but the story was one of the first vanilla NTR games that didn't have so many fantasy elements, and in the span of 2 updates (which isn't a lot story telling wise) it has started leaning heavily towards fantasy.

The Typist stated on his patreon I believe 2 updates ago that he had a clear vision of where things would go with the story, but seemingly new things are being thrown together each update based on the opinions of his most vocal supporters. For example, the (now obsolete) Love route with the bartender and Claire fight led nowhere and took a whole nother direction. The progression of the story and corruption of Claire has always seemed rushed even since the second update with the hospital scene that was removed, she goes from sucking D's to voyeurism to calling house booty calls in no time.

I think a lot of it has to do with him setting release dates and not living up to them, so he rushes to put an update together of what he thinks people want to see ( again based on his most vocal supporters ) without so much as a patreon poll. Bigger devs get roasted for this.

Just my opinion. I love the game and just don't want to see it go down the rabbit hole so to speak

No offence, but that is like saying Claire is a little bit pregnant. It doesn't matter how minor the succubus is, it changes the complexion of the story completely. We are moving from a story set in a realistic setting to a fantasy one. And it seems he is doing it for no other reason than to get a harem going for fan service.

This isn't just an ntr game, it has a love route. I played both and tbh the ntr route kinda sucks.

It will be interesting to see if the harem/fantasy tropes get him the increase in patrons he is looking for.

The love route has been basically completely abandoned by the dev. So I don't know why he would abandon that to turn the NTR route into a harem route. I don't think forcing players to play through the NTR route just to get to a harem would bring in any new players. I think everyone is looking too far into this.

So now patreon is a way of living and not a help, and artists creativity and vision is secondary.

Maybe for people like you its hard to understand,but not always is about the money,
and games and projects who tend to think too much about the money end being abandoned or just trash.

Stick to his guns? Do what he first intended to do? Not abandoning his story/game for the bucks?

He already made a huge mistake by adding a love route he at first never intended to add, but he caved to the whining of the anti-ntr crowd.
You can feel where his passion is and that is on the NTR route.

But so many devs follow the bucks instead of their passion. This could've been a decent NTR game but he drifts further and further away to please everyone.

And now a succubus... A slice of life game suddenly turns fantasy/supernatural because he has no idea what he wants to do with the game.

I'll call it. This game will never be finished.
I do hope I am wrong though.

I think the problem with NTR-games is, that you are (the MC you are playing) forced to enjoy it.
If there would be routes to kick your wife's ass and go your way without her or trying to improve your relationship, there would not so many people complaining about it, I guess.

On the other side, we have people who enjoy the full NTR-route...
In the end, I think, that a Dev should stick to his story he was thinking about and not do this and/or that but it's his decision.
