I agree. There was so much detail throughout the story, and when the final came out, Like you, I was not prepared for such an abrupt ending. What a shame.
Game was great overall, but the endings like what the others have mentioned felt abit forced or too rushed ( a little too mass effect'y) esp the investigation route ending, felt a little "Wat thats it?". But it is good that DanielsK actually updated regularly and completed the game.

My only fear is it is his pattern...... rushed/forced endings and unfinished routes. I liked PF but knowing where that game went I am loosing interest in his next games. I think the root cause is that Dev lost interest in this project and rushed to the next one/ones.

Ok, I got questions that need answers, beginning of part 2 when MC keeps 'remembering' stuff from part 1, theres a scene he remembers with Mia in the piano room where the 2 options are 'we had a nice conversation' & 'things got steamy' for the steamy part he says 'we wanted to have sex again, she was too sore from the last time' WTF, is there a way to sex up Mia that I missed in part 1? Please tell how lmfao

I think the dev pretty much covered everything in what he did with the ending of this VN.
Overall I will agree the ending did feel a bit rushed but that's the devs decision and at least we got an ending and another fantastic VN that's completed.

so I cancelled the 4 gig download - is the ending really that bad? I'm surprised it ends in this update I thought it would have a few more left. what a shame.

No, there is not. And there is even no sex scene with her, just 2 BJs, nothing more. I'm really disappointed with it.
In total, there are 7 endings: Alice, Grace, Mia, Alice&Grace (3some), Lilly, Leaving town with no girl and final goddess ending (the fog ending)
The only "harem" ending is with Alice&Grace 3some.
For me yes, it's really that bad. Endings with girls are really very rushed, the ending contains just one last scene. And the explanation (fog) ending is really weird and also very rushed. For me it's worst game from him for now.

Dividing the game in Part 1 and Part 2 was just a file size issue. It became too big to keep adding the last 5 chapters.
I understand people's complaints about the endings but they are not that bad, IMO.

Not really, In Grace ending she suggests to live in doors forever but both of them realize that's not an option and they get out of town with the other girls.

After I played this final version, I had My Girlfriend Amnesia's feelings here. The developer built a great mystery around the plot, but the resolution, in my opinion, was so simplified that toned down the quality of the game's story.
When I saw the hospital scene, I created so high expectation about the ending(The fog one), I thought the developer would create something with deep meaning, full of metaphors and allegories, and maybe everything was linked with MC's head, but no, in the end, the mystery was just a fantasy cliché. So, it is another great game, but it wasted the opportunity to be a masterpiece one.
