can you change the software required to use this because not everyone has directx 11 level 10?
I believe if your computer and graphics card are less than 10 years old, and your running windows 7 or newer you should have it or be able to get it easily. Otherwise workarounds may be available, but this game is fairly graphically intense.

March progress report up on Patreon, shows a little teaser for the new girl. (It's an outsourced animation test not made by the dev, might not be in the actual release)

Hey guys!
Incase anyones having trouble running the game, there's a way to configure the quality, but it's a little tedious.

Go to c:/users/USER/appdata/local

and find the Under the Witch folder.
then go past Saved -> Config -> WindowsNoEditor.

Open the Game user setting and edit ONLY the number part of the
[ScalabilityGroups]
section

Be sure to use common sense and only go as far down as 1.

Here's an example.
------------------------------------------------------
[ScalabilityGroups]
sg.ResolutionQuality=100.000000
sg.ViewDistanceQuality=1
sg.AntiAliasingQuality=1
sg.ShadowQuality=1
sg.PostProcessQuality=1
sg.TextureQuality=3
sg.EffectsQuality=1
sg.FoliageQuality=1

------------------------------------------------------
Still don't know how to remove motion blur, if anyone knows please let me know.

Fiddle around till you get your perfect setting.

Hope this helps!

Any possible workarounds would be tricky, lack performance, and shouldn't be needed if your hardware is up to the task of playing this game anyways.
I don't know what OS you have, what GPU you have, etc.
A good place to start would be update graphics card drivers if you haven't already.
You can check your directx version by running "dxdiag". If the GPU and drivers are good, you may lack the proper runtimes.
You might try running the UE4 prerequisite setup, located in the game folder\Engine\Extras\Redist\en-us and see what it comes up with. It may check and fetch what you need, not sure. Probably reboot after running it.
