I've added the Samantha Giddings mod,the game displays the character card in the girl selection and the name,but the body is nowhere to be found.

You need to manually change the features of the "[73] Sam"-character in the Character Maker, in order to give her Sam's head. Go through the categories and choose the "[73] Sam"-option to get the feature from 73lac7c's mod. You might also want to tweek some of the colors and sliders for eye and facial settings, in order to get the head right.
Remember that you also need the "4K Skin Diffuse Initial Pack (All-In-One)" in order to get 73lac7c's make up to be visible.
