To solve her financial situation, she has the following three options:
1. She gives up her sexual orientation and will be in a relationship with a man of her choice.
2. She gets on the menu and will be a whore for countless men.
3. She tries to find her happy ending.

So how do we rank the probabilities that Maya chooses ? Even if things don't go well for her and we take away 3rd. choice?

And she's shown a willingness to simulate those tasks and a reluctance to actually do those things. And she was only willing to simulate with people she trusted (Jo and MC).

To me that says she already has a lot of misgivings about the HOTs, her so-called "Mother" and what lines she is prepared to cross for real.

I am hoping for a happy ending for Maya, because quite frankly, I think she has more moral fiber than people give her credit for, and when push comes to shove, hopefully she'll dig her heels in.

3, then 1, and 2 is not even remotely likely.

3 and 1 could have a bit of a cross-over and not necessarily be mutually exclusive. If the relationship with Josy breaks down and a relationship between her and the MC alone grows organically this could be a happy ending for her. Her other happy ending could, of course, be with both the MC and Josy, but I doubt she'll willingly give up Josy just to please her Dad.

Troy is indeed a former Jock, which makes him a suspect at first. But I believe that there's an interesting backstory to it.
He was thrown out of the Jocks and he's always on the lookout. The Jocks did also beat him up.

Besides being used as an instrument to being tolerated or not by Bella, I believe there is something about him. Could he be the one Riona sees behind the truck ?

Troy is essentially an instrument to start 2 of the main storylines :

* Chad beats Troy and gives mc's guitar to Sage which later leads to the mc-Sage-guitar storyline.
(mc is already connected with Sage by intervening in the cafeteria and maybe helping her to investigate Chad, but the guitar lessons bring them closer together.) The info that Troy is a former Jock (and has some debts) is a good explanation for Chad's actions.

* Troy is pissed because of the incident with Chad and makes mc give up his dorm and pledge the DIKs.
(The fact that Troy is a former Jock gives mc some extra credit with the DIKs when pledging.)

(* As you mentioned above : Beating up Troy is also a major DIK/CHICK choice which influences directly mc's relation with Bella.)

So from current POV it is not really necessary to explore Troy's backstory further. Troy being a former Jock with debts is just a detail which makes the predetermined story events more plausible.

little later Rusty say "they will become stronger for 2 members or they will cut the weakest link from the chain to protect future of DIKs"
And Tommy is the one who will cast the judgement who will join and who not. But i don't believe he can allow Derek to join the DIKs duo Maya. Tommy say in episode 3 that he want to fuck her so badly but it will be very hard to do so if Derek join the DIKs and how he react when he Derek told him that he is her brother. I really don't see Derek to join the DIKs.

There are many unanswered questions about just what is going on with the HOTs, but my impression is that Sage doesn't know about Quinn's restaurant. It's a private operation Quinn runs on the side with a subset of the HOTS (at least Riona, Sarah, Melanie and now Camila).

Assuming the above is correct, I suspect Sage would be furious if she found out about the scheme. But exactly what she would do depends on the circumstances: this is the sort of scandal that could get the HOTs disbanded if it ever became public, so Sage's first order of business would be to prevent that from happening. I could see her helping to cover the whole thing up if she thought a direct confrontation with Quinn might drag the sorority down around them.

That's a gud point … I wouldnt be against it if that happends seems like a nice setup that could bring a lot of drama

Sage doesn't know anything about Quinn's 'menu' nor drugs distribution. Unlike the other HOT's. Quinn is keeping a lot of big things secret from Sage despite their code about not keeping secrets from each other.

Yeah I'm actually pretty confident he will. With the Jade (or Cathy) dream n all, it's natural for people to forget but in Troy's phone bio it was important enough for DPC to remind us of an open-ended mystery:

"Troy left the dorm in the middle of the Night. He is up to something."

Thus, somewhere along the line the mystery of "what he is up to" needs resolving. Whether it's a major role (e.g. Blackmailer) or minor role (e.g. sneaking off to meet Chad as a lover) remains to be seen.

PS. If you played guitar for him, it's also noted that he likes it. People who didn't will not have that of course, so this may also have an impact in the future.

I agree Troy will probably re-enter the narrative at some point. But it's also possible that some of those early entries could be plot threads that DPC wound up abandoning as the story developed. Things sometimes change when projects stretch out over years, even if the overall arc was planned in advance.
