If you're handing out PMs do you mind sliding me one too? The gameplay of this honestly entices me just a bit more than the erotic bits, really quite fun, enjoy it and it's difficulty. I also tend to like my rape a lil... softer and less bloody. And I have the piss/scat disabled. So I'm not really the target audience for it. But it's still very enjoyable, hardly let it stop me from playing. Very into the grim world too.

How exactly do you update to a newer version? I can't figure it out and I'm worried about deleting my older saves

- Download 0.4.0.5 and the patch from the OP.
- Unpack the game.
- Decrypt the Game.rgss3a and move the Data and pictures folder to the game folder. For dectypting there are many methods. As Squarks recomends a few posts above yours, this is one of them. https://f95zone.to/threads/rpg-maker-unpacker.50/. Don't forget to delete or rename the game.rgss3a file
- Unpack and overwrite the data folder with the one in the patch.
- Finally, apply the translation patch if you like me do not understand Chinese (https://f95zone.to/threads/lonarpg-v0-4-0-5-eccma417.49993/post-3874457 for this version)
Not 100% sure, but checking the ENG folder inside of text I would say that pretty much everything was translated 9if you applied the fanmade translation, obviously, the development team hasn't translated all the game yet). It has happened to me once or twice that the game changes to Chinese on its own, but if you save and restart the game it goes back to normal. About being buggy... it is a Beta. there are bugs, but if you report them they tend to be fixed

I tried to do this and it bugged the game out and immediately crashed. It was displaying as still on 3.8.0 on the top window bar, so not sure exactly what happened.

Have you tried doing all those steps into a new game folder, and once it is running, copy over your saves? If the game shows 0.3.8 you haven't overwritten the game.ini, so it is likely that something else is missing too and that's why it is crashing.
I played around and found some more trait codes if anyone is interested.
Frankly not sure if I'm missing any, but having this list makes it a lot easier to play around w/ the game so I'm enjoying it.

I tried it in the new game folder first and it just wouldn't load my saves that I tried porting over. It **WAS** displaying the correct version there, however.

Just a heads up that I have just remembered. If you are moving from 0.3.8 to 0.4.0.x (any versions), the saves won't work....
The developer changed something in the code to make the game less laggy but broke the saves.

i got untranslated man in Noer Town Relay and i want to know what is his purpose... and maybe a way to translate him.
The one in a suit at the stand? He's a carter.
For, iirc, 2000 trade points he can get you to Doom Fortress (and one other place I forgot the name of), that's the bottom option.
Top/middle option is the usual barter screen, you can buy food from him and exchange coins.
Sorry for the late reply, but yeah, it seems like the only change survival mode makes is that you either cook raw food or lose it, which to be fair, at the beginning is a pain in the ass, but once you actually have Dark Cauldron, it's just obnoxious.

I think I found a bug with the pregnancy from orcs.
I have a save on 0.4.0.5 that has Lona captured by orcs.
Eventually you'll become pregnant and there is a pregnancy check event that may occur during one of the daily breeding sessions.
I have had 4 events where the orcs think Lona is not pregnant with their kind and attempt a primitive abortion. Lona was not sexed prior to fighting and being captured by orcs.
Save included.
