Hi, well, the game was working fine until I modified the file Config: MaxCharactersPerTranslation and suddenly it doesn't work in any game. I have noticed that it is not automatically translated, can someone help me?

What you don't believe is _AutoGeneratedTranslations.txt

Can it be removed from the system and reused? is that I don't go anymore, until I restarted the PC and it doesn't work

Is it possible to change the font size or have it wrap in the text box? The translator works but the text floats off the screen

I tried this with another unity game & don't have an autotranslator folder yet everything else was there so it's not translating.

same i am also looking a solution for that problem will let u know if i find anything the problem is this method is not possible for unity games that are written in iil2cpp thats why the folder is not generated

Has anyone tried messing about to make a manual translation from the generated auto translation file? What I want to know is how to translate a recurring text without making a bunch of separate entries in the translation file.

For example, let's say you have a parameter in game called "スタミナ" (Stamina), and it goes from a value of 0 to 100. So in game it'd look like this. スタミナ=36 or スタミナ=78 and so on.

With the default settings, the plugin will make a different entry every time the value behind the text changes because its value at the end is different, and so the plugin considers them to be two different texts. It then made 100 entries that basically boils down to "スタミナ:Number=Stamina:Number", replace number with 0 to 100 . This results in an incredible amount of clutter, not even accounting the fact that there are multiples of this kind of texts, i.e. Health, Attack Power, etc.

Is there a way to make the plugin "remembers" that it has translated the text スタミナ into Stamina? Or maybe a way to make the plugin ignore numbers when making translations? The Github page suggests using a Splitter Regex to solve the problem of recurring texts, but I'm afraid it's too complex for me to understand without any coding background.

Any help on this matter will be appreciated.

can i translate it manually? like translator ++ where it gives you the text? or if you know any other, since i can mess up unity files pretty easily

It is easy, first visit the developer github
I know this program through machine translation via Rei_Patcher, not all Unity games accept this, there is a game if you don't have the right Mono file will never work. :sneaky:

Thanks. Ive tried it with and itsa pretty decent translation so far. From initial testing, it seems that DeepL > Google Translate for this game.

Does anyone know if XUnity only tries to translate (internet access) if the line hasn't already been translated? Does it only try to translate if it sees japanese letters in that section?
