As for yuri-content - uhmm... yeah its there and notouchdick rule is not broken, but there is very little of it, zero 18+content, whole VN is more like story-oriented and even philosophical to some degree.

It's a little sad that like 80% of lesbian games are anime-related. I enjoy those sometimes, but always hoping for more realistic Western games and rarely seeing any. Any lesbian content is usually side stuff you can do in most Western renpy games.

I'm perfectly happy with anime-styled games, as long as it's lesbian I'm fine with whatever style. Art-wise: I do wish there was a bit more variation, but I don't really mind the art medium, so long as it's done pretty well. If it's done badly, I find I dislike it more, the more real it's supposed to look real. I guess it's something uncanny-valley related or my mind filling in the blanks with simpler art or w/e.
That said, I think it's story/scene content that's the biggest point of frustration for me. I find it hard to pin down exactly what I want, but the vast majority of games ain't it. Single paths in bigger games annoy me if the only thing drawing me in is lesbian content. I like some lesbian-only games some of the time (especially when the cute factor's maxing out), but I think I tend to find them a bit slow and vanilla a lot of the time. I do like games that aren't lesbian-exclusive or focused, but the games and stories I've liked best do tend to be lesbian-focused. I'm just struggling to work out what I like and express that in words. Oh well, that's a problem for tomorrow now.

Also, top question jogged my memory when I started trying to look up good Honey Select CG games. What's the opinion on M2F TF games, if the main character is a man in a woman's body for the majority of the game? I saw early on that futa was ruled out but gender-bender might be OK. If so, I'm like 99% sure Love Change has "lesbian" routes that aren't just token inclusions, although the game does branch out towards the end and I haven't seen all paths. There is a mid-game switch back for a short while, and I could have mistaken some mandatory dick later on for some optional dick if I'm misremembering something, but I really doubt it - the game was pretty good at giving options the whole way through.
edit: disregard the above, completely blanked on a scene in the middle which is mandatory, don't consider for list. if you're flexi it's got better options than some limited-path games though
And my second tangential whine reminded me of another game: Bondage College, one of those games that I really liked a lot (until I realised it was abandoned anyway). Played it plenty and I don't think there's a single dude in it. It also cuts off right at the point where I'd say it gets good.
(I guess if combining this and Shield High then I can work out that I like lesbian BDSM relationships and school settings; I feel like there's more to it than that but I can't think of many Lesbian BDSM games, so... it's a lead, at least? also games that get abandoned )

I include Honeyselect in anime-style. And I am perfectly fine with 2D games and enjoy many of them. Some anime-style games have been enjoyable as well (in fact one of my all-time favorites is probably Love Ribbon, the end actually made me cry I was so invested in their love story). I just have a preference for the Western-style games, not necessarily Daz and all that, either. I'm just honestly a little surprised why such a huge proportion on lesbian games seems to favor the anime style. Just unfortunate that the vast majority of Western 3D games seem to focus on a very narrow set of "mainstream" themes.

Yeah, shit, I just did a quick run and forgot about the scene with your old body, got that muddled with the scene with Gary which could alternate with Emily. Crossed that out.

Yeah, and when I complained (politely, I wasn't abusive or anything) no apology, no 'sorry about that, I couldn't think of a better way to progress the story', he just deleted my comment. So fuck him. I won't be his patron again and would advise others against it too.

How did you manage to avoid male x female content I tried playing it but there was a ton even in random events and couldn't find a way to remove it, in fact I played for about an hour trying to figure it out and almost everything I ran into was male x female.Today i have found oddball.
Eratoho K - text based adult strategy game. I'm playing it about couple of hours still pure lesbian but with economic, fighting, management elements. There is lots of scenarios and customisations so i'm not sure but i thing there must be the way to play pure lesbian route.

I generated female proto or even females team. I can't remember. Then i played FF romance lines (grind-medium). And about other stuff like management or strategy i didn't bother too much. So it was only FF experience...
