This game definitely needs a walkthrough. Putting a "spoiler free" walkthrough behind a paywall is just a means for a developer to get money for as little work as possible. Add the fact that the "free" version" has so little content while you have to pay for full version or extra version (except when the developer "graciously" gives out the extra after updating - at the barest minimum - the game in the free version just says to me that the developer is NOT interested in providing a decent game experience but instead wants to rip off players here for as much money as he can get without providing a decent game.

Understand, this is only my personal opinion, but I feel it is a valid opinion since the developer says that to get a walkthrough you have to pay. 2ndly the fact that he specifically states it is a "spoiler free" walkthrough says that it is not a walkthrough at all. Every single walkthrough I have seen or used HAS to have spoilers in order for the walkthrough to make any sense. So as far as I am concerned, based on previous experience with games and walkthroughs here, all the developer is doing is forcing people to pay for a substandard game that has little to no content, too many F**king "game over" or "Bad endings" in it with no decent way to progress to avoid them and get a decent progression.

I have played bad games from this site, and usually simply note them in me mind and avoid them. This game, however, sails too close to being a scam and money making scheme to rip people off while doing little to nothing in regards to making a even SORT of decent game.

I read your post, and you feel the there should be a WT (as the games seems to be tricky) and the Dev borderline scams ppl by not providing it.

I do not know the game at all, but in principle I don't think I would agree. We are on a pirate site and can not really demand anything from the dev.

I'm just flabbergasted by what I'm seeing here. I see a game that looks relatively good, with good graphics that is almost two years old has only one average review and only 15 pages of comments.

I'm not bashing the Dev, I geniunly wanted to find out why there seems to be no enthusiasm for the game. I do not even see a lot of hate for the game...just nothing. So I'm hoping for some indication on what's in the game.

BTW, not shooting down your opinion, but I have never seen a lack of WT causing a game to fail or be lack lustre. The best WT in any case, is normally from a player, but like I said, there seems to be no enthusiasm here. I'm just wondering why.

Alfius the game is special because it has a ton of choices and a ton of branching. Everything impacts the game so it comes off as "hard" if you're just trying to see the sex stuff. The gallery addition enables one to see how much content they missed. (I'd just like to point out that FULL version only has girl voices added, and the EXTRA version has some extra scenes - the regular game is where 90% of content is)

It's slow going (because I'm not an artist myself, so the art takes a long time between episodes) that's why it's been from 2018.

As for why there's no enthusiasm...I don't know. My lack of advertising or something With every new episode I provide the previous for free but hey, if people don't care for it they don't have to play it at all.

Please take the below as my opinion and/or as constructive criticism. I am not trying to put the game down. I am trying to nudge the game towards becoming better.

I like the game's idea, takes me back to the old days when Dating Arriane was HTML with tons of ways to mess up and tons of ways to get to some sort of sexual activities. This game follows kind of the same idea, plenty of choices with plenty of outcomes but, and here's the negative part: the choices, your choices rarely make sense and there is no way to track your progress or lack of it. It feels ridiculously easy to get to sex with some characters while near impossible with others. If you want to follow the incest path is almost impossible without peeking in the game files and even harder to go for an incest+harem path. I seriously doubt it's even possible. Some things need to be addressed so players can make some sense of the game. I played the game so many times I lost count. Eventually, I looked at the images and saw there's a decent amount of "probable incest" content already (I say "probable incest" only because "incest" is defined differently in different parts of the world). Judging by the massive difference in renders for the sister it was also very clear the true intent of the game is to change the tag "probable incest" to "certainly incest" (131 Mb for sister vs 309 Mb for ALL the 10 other characters combined). If the plan is to have a ton of renders and the dialogue that goes with them and make it near impossible to find them then that is working great so far. You cannot really read a lot from the sister's reactions and dialogue and just being generally nice does not work. Being a perv gives you a game over if you did not make the correct choices so it's not even a matter of stats (cheated those through the console and still got game over)

You said the graphics look nice. I kind of disagree. While the models are ok (not bad, not great) there are a lot of grainy and even pixelated images, bad lighting in some scenes, and a few instances where the character's body pierces through clothes or bad morphs deform the clothes. The graphic is ok-ish but it is nowhere near what it should be for this type of games where the visuals are most of the fun considering there is not a whole lot of text to read through.

I had no idea this game started in 2018 and if this is the case it is a bit worrying. There should be way more content at this point after 2 years of development.

The walkthrough issues can be either modded out or better yet can be addressed by the dev(s). In its current shape, the game really needs several walkthroughs as there are so many scenes that I couldn't get find for reasons already mentioned.

I'll try to give a somewhat spoiler-free explanation of what's in the game so far. I'm not exactly sure what you're wanting in terms of detail, but I'll take a stab at it for you:

• You grew up with parents that treated you and your little sister, Claire, badly. At a certain point, you were finally able to move out and live on your own. Unfortunately, that means your sister got left behind, with your parents. When your parents finally took their mistreatment of Claire too far and she turned 18, she fled to your apartment, hoping she could stay with you instead of the terrible home environment.
• You start to develop sexual feelings for Claire, but you have to be careful; she's not really ready to get intimate. You can choose sexually-oriented and/or crude responses, but you might upset her.
• There is some sexual content, depending on choices you make, of course. The thread really hasn't been updated for possible tags. I'll have to report the OP and submit an updated list (from what I personally know, though it may still be incomplete). Vaginal sex, anal sex, oral sex, creampie, and a handjob are all available in different scenarios.
• In addition to Claire, there are several other women with whom you can attempt to spend time / develop relationships. This being episode 5, practically every girl you meet up to this point is a potential LI. It's supposed to be very difficult, however, to develop a relationship with all the different girls in a single playthrough. What the dev said makes it sound like it is possible, but that (1) it's an extremely delicate balance to get it to happen; and (2) it won't end up being any kind of harem.
• Claire is still in school, so there is a teacher you can develop a relationship with, and there are other classmates of Claire whom you can also try to build something with. You can have encounters with some girls you've just met, while others develop over the course of the episodes so far: the pizza girl, the department store girl(s), a girl from the subway, etc.

I agree, the amount of choices and the way each of them impacts the game is what attracts me to this game. It's the game's best feature. But this needs to make a bit more sense. As I mentioned in my previous post it is difficult to understand where choices can lead.

Not being an artist is not a massive deterrent, you already got hundreds of renders and I assume you don't have the best computer for rendering judging by some of your renders. This will take much longer to render and hence you will spend much more time rendering than anything else. I remember some of my 1st renders in IRAY took well over 3 hours because of my machine. May I be so bold to suggest batch rendering? This will give you time to work on each scene and then render when you're away or while you sleep. Also, try to render the backgrounds and keep reusing them while only rendering the characters in the different poses that you want. To avoid weird shadows render the characters and the objects they cast shadows on.

The extra scenes I don't really care at the moment since it's quite difficult to find the normal scenes

Unfortunately, I did not discover this game until about a month ago but it's on my watch list, I may even become a patron, but at the moment I want to feel the pace of the game (mainly how long between updates and how much new content with each update) before I decide.

Yeah that can easily become annoying instead of fun to play quite quickly, since that basically means you have to try every combination of choices possible to see what happens which is work when there are loads of them instead of having fun. Meaningful choices are great, but only when they make sense within the context of the game for a player after having tried to play the game a few times and having to follow a non existing WT to the letter to have any chance to see a path in any reasonable amount of time is not the most immersive way of playing.

Yeah that can easily become annoying instead of fun to play quite quickly, since that basically means you have to try every combination of choices possible to see what happens which is work when there are loads of them instead of having fun. Meaningful choices are great, but only when they make sense within the context of the game for a player and having to follow a non existing WT to the letter is not the most immersive way of playing.

Yeah in the end it is always a question of balance, where going to far can make a game unplayable and not far enough makes it to easy. I also downloaded to have a look, but unlikely will have time today or tomorrow to give it some serious time. Will be interesting to hear how you feel about that balance also for the dev. I know he has his plans and ideas, but objective feedback of how it feels when you play it without knowing all development plans and having written them yourself can be useful info.
