for us noobs and new at all this, what does MTL even mean?

Acronym for Machine TransLation. Meaning that a software translated the japanese to english.
(which is well... faaaaaaar from perfect.... and even from decent in some cases....)

If you want to try it out, play until you reach the 8th floor and let me know if there are any issues with words going out of bounds, etc. To install it just copy the data folder into your Milene www folder and select replace all when it asks you to.

That's how I've always felt when seeing a new MTL but well we can hope someone will be interested in translating the game one day. It does look interesting.

So i tested a little your translation, for the most part it's okay, need to polish it a little but at it's current state, it's already good.

But i've found some errors, not really big errors but i will report them nonetheless. First one is when you're starting the game, when they talk about the unique skills of arcane mages, the "heal" and the "the" are close each other, touching even.

This one i don't know if it was here even with the MTL but when pressing shift, even when Mylene is not talking at all with anyone, it's hiding the text.

The rest is coming with two pictures.

("Tell" and "you touching each other)

Thank you. I will definitely go over the entire thing once I'm finished to hunt for spelling errors, missing spaces and the like. I've corrected the ones you mentioned now, just in case.

The shift button hides all text even in the MTL version so that's just part of the game.

As for the text overlapping I'm really not quite sure. I'll have to test how and why that happens.

The only MTL that should be hated is the kind that was done half assed and ends up crashing the game 9 out of 10 times (looking at you Sakura Games with your notorious shitty translations that literally breaks games).

If it doesn't crash the game randomly that's good enough for me.

could not agree more, MTL that posting in here, 6 of 10 of them is half assed translation without proper edit. Its so much unreadable and make my head hurts with the bug resulted on that. I better play it in original language without understanding what they say than play MTL version of that certain game

You have to have more than 500 mana/magical power before fighting the secret final boss, then after defeating her choose the option to absorb her rather than sealing her with the wand of fate.
