I've said this before, but I don't buy it. I certainly don't think it's his obsession, but simply he doesn't include it so he won't run afoul of steam and patreon...and because his games will thus be more acceptable to the masses. He sneaks it in via roleplay, which in my opinion is preferable anyway.

There's a quote buried somewhere in this thread where DPC said on Discord or Patreon that this is "not a kink that interests me". They also have an explicit rule against it for custom renders requests.

While I tend to lean towards Jill not being related, the picture isn’t good evidence one way or another.

The name on the picture is intentionally obscured. Bella’s name is clear. The reason this may matter is it means we don’t know who is in the picture. It could be Jill and her Sister. It could be her sister and Jill’s Mum (for example). If it is Jill and her sister, and her sister isn’t Lynette, then why obscure the name? If for example Jill’s sis is ‘Sarah’ the caption could have said ‘Jill and Sarah’ at that moment it is still meaningless to us as an audience. Where as if it said ‘Jill and Lynette’ it would reveal something. Either way my point is it doesn’t really prove anything.

While it would be unusual for MC not to have seen a picture of his Mum, when we see her it is in the MC’s minds eye. He pictures her as described by his dad, and that is then how he see’s her when reading her journal. It is a fairly common trope with this kind of thing that when the truth is revealed we see a montage of these moments with her morphed into this other person.

Possible Jill isn’t born at the point of the Journal she is talking about running away to her friends (as I recall), not about running away with MC’s dad. This is a different incident. Could be Jill is the reason she stays or comes back.

Again MC’s Mum’s tree is in the minds eye. Could easily prove to be a different tree.

The strongest story argument in a way is Jill’s age. If she is 3-4 years older than MC, she would have only been 3 or 4 when Lynette dies. That is of course presuming Lynette actually dies in Child birth as we are told and not at a later date.

The main argument outside of this is if DPC indeed said he won’t do incest. If by that he meant no fetishistic incest. Or if it would be okay as a hidden fact, designed to pull at heart strings.

My main argument is that these are breadcrumb hints. They may be designed to mislead, they may be red herrings, but they exist.

If (disregarding the proof that it's not the case) Jill were to be the MC's aunt, I see three scenarios:

1. Although I doubt the game would progress down this path, but they find out they are related and profess their love for one another in spite of the social mores blah blah as per every other incest game. That would just fuck this game up and basically make it stupid. Not happening.
2. I also doubt that they would be like, "Our love can never be, oh mc, we must not proceed any further with this", and then Jill is removed from the LI pool. Imagine the backlash. People wouldn't just take to forums and shit to vent, they'd be looking up Swedish phone books for the address of one "Dr PinkCake". Jill was the fucking poster babe for this game, she will receive MC dick.
3. The only other way this could go, and the mental anguish would be right up DPC's alley (if you've watched the 2003 Korean movie "Oldboy" you know where I'm going with this) is that not until MC penetrates all of Jill's orifices and impregnates her ass (not really her ass, I don't think you can do that), that Tybalt will get his ultimate revenge on the MC when he finds out the MC's mom truly was Jill's sister, causing the MC to have a mental breakdown and end up in a psych ward screaming and shit (I don't know, like some other melodramatic game that people occasionally reference). To be honest, if it wasn't for the base need of so many fuckers on these forums chanting for incest, this would have been a good plot twist to fuck with the audience. However, if it happened now, after all the speculation, it would simply be lame.

So there you have it. Any scenario where Jill turns out to be the MC's aunt (even though we've already proven this can't be the case anyway), will just ruin the game and possibly cost DPC his life.

Disclaimer: DPC, if you read this, in no way am I threatening your life, I am merely suggesting that some people, not me, may wish to hunt you down and dig your heart out with a spoon in the event that Jill turns out to be the MC's aunt and the MC never gets to dip into that honey pot, plunge that cave of wonders, navigate those labyrinthine folds of flesh that constitute Jill's cunt. Might I add that if she has a dick, a similar fate (perpetrated by others, not me) may befall the director of such a decision. Just saying...

To be honest, heaps of people felt like Jill being the mc's aunt was a forgone conclusion until we started arguing them down. I'm not sure if their understanding was influenced by other people's comments, by so many other games here with an incest slant, or purely by misleading (or intentional) details provided in the game.
