If his internet connexion is as good as mine, that's not really an option. Most time, the downloads fails half-way through. Only a MEGA link associated with Megasync gets the job done for me. I may not be the only one facing this problem.

It means a really realllllly bad connexion. Even without closing the download host homepage, I lose the connection anyway. Don't know exactly why, but it's annoying when it happens. But with Megasync, no problem. I can even stop the download and resume it later. I like that.

Is there a compressed version of 2.1 v0.16 somewhere? 10GB download is just inside given how quickly it starts to throttle

The grind is required to hide the very poor content added in every update...
The new version 2.2 v3 can be played in no more than 30 minutes...
I really suggest to use the gallery mod.
This game is still in a boring starting phase... and i think it will never comes with a consistent story.
Play this game is made for annoying... and it is soo boring. I have started to play with a lot of expectations ..... but after some day I realized that the better way is use gallery mod
The story is good but there are too munch useless repetitive action that are not related with Monica...
It is like as an RPGM game that need a complete remake by delting all useless map.. change clothes...
90% of time is for repetitive action on all different locations
10% is for the story-
That is why I really suggest to plat ONLY THE EXTRA VERSION.

People who bob their head up to complain about the grind and then disappear I have no problem with. It's their opinion, their entitled too it and too be fair I can see where they are coming from. You on the other hand just confuse me. No doubt we are now all in for one of your inane rants about whatever passes through your brain when you read this response. Some people might complain about grinding or that they don't like blackmail or coercion but you are the only poster I,ve read that complains about the amount or quality of content with each update. Are you serious? Say what you will about the developer and his business model but please name one other dev that produces the quality of renders with animations in the time frame that this dev does. Only NLT are in the same conversation.

There is no denying that the first 8 or 9 updates of episode 2 have many scenes that are used to acclimatise Monica to her new lot in life. Some people who post here will call that excessive grind, while others like myself realise Rome wasn't built in a day. You haven't obviously played the recent content if you believe this game is still in the early development phase. This last update had Monica involved in anal, a Biff casting, sexual favours of a couple hookers, gets busy with a stranger and also includes a huge scene involving Melanie and Victoria. Now I would have preferred another investor update but you will have to point out the grind in this update that was required to hide all this "very poor content".
Why you are posting so much in a game thread you clearly don't enjoy baffles me. There are many very popular games on this site that I believe are poor but unlike you I'm not in their threads bashing the game or it's developer.

This game is by no means perfect, but it is pretty obvious the dev listens to feedback. Two of the biggest issues the game had (the grind and the bad in-game questlog) have been adressed. The questlog since 2.2 and the grind long before that.
Sure, the gameplay isn't exactly smooth and probably will remain a bit annoying at times until they start a new game, but the willingness of the dev to improve the game is very apparent and to complain about the amount of content the game adds each update can only be described as insane.
