Wow. An update for The Intoxicating Flavor. I love your game, PixelsLab. It started out looking like a straightforward VN, then more and more mysterious backstory and current events. I love reading all the dialog to see how the story develops. Your game is truly one of the hidden gems here, and I hope you get more and more popularity as more people discover it.

Well, it doesn't qualify for a harem tag because most of the LIs don't know about each other yet, let alone approving of each other. On the other hand, there is at least one point in the game that strongly suggests a future harem of sorts
The person you quoted said it wasn't a single LI game, not that there weren't LIs. In fact, there are quite a few LIs and potential LIs. There aren't, however, any defined relationships with most of them yet.
It is quite an unusual game for this site, and it requires a LOT of reading (and the language for the first half to two-thirds of the game hasn't been proofread/edited yet.) It may very well not be for you. However, the story is interesting. The girls are attractive and multi-dimensional. PL does an exceptional job with the art and animations. I'd strongly suggest you give it a try for yourself rather than trying to read the tea leaves on this forum to make a decision.

She is without a doubt one of the most beautiful milf characters in any of these games.

Great update. Two hot sex scenes.
Although going at it with Maria at the lunch area was risky as fuck. MC knew Alice would take some time but he had no idea were Katie was. And Maria screaming her lungs out, oh boy.
But backing up a bit to the beginning. Alice's nice little dream/fantasy of having the MC around. Not sure if this was her trying to get the MC more interested in her and/or her sister or if she really wants it to happen. There's no question she wants a piece.
It will be interesting how she reacts when the rest shows up on the island or when she realizes that we've been fucking her mom.
Then there's the picture she drew. Pretty obvious it's not just shame in her "bad" result that keep her from showing us. She unintentionally threw something. Either something completely unrelated from memory, like her fathers study from the story. Or, more likely imho, she the MCs colors/aura. And despite her insinuating it got better it probably still doesn't look very good from his latest killings and his depression.
Katie showing us her full tsundere power in this update and finally melting in the end. A great scene to finish the episode. Normally I'd say I can't wait for her reaction in morning. But with the night starting shit is about to go down and the morning is a long way away.

There are two versions of the Maria scene depending on the choice you made in the club when you were repairing her mind. If you went back to her room, you have sex with her in the dining area. If you didn't, you have a sweet conversation about planning a chance to spend some alone time together.

Its been a long time so I don't remember what I did in her mind.
I think I was following a walk through at the time, which is the better option?
