Dude who makes mods, you do not need to touch the main files, edit the translations that are in the /tl folder. I get low marks after your mods.
I don't understand why you offer an option to change the language in the flow of the game. Most people choose a language and stay with it. If someone wants to change the language they can open the preferences screen (or whatever it's called here I don't remember) change the language and return to the game.
The option as offered here has problems, with or without the mod. As my much earlier comments indicate, I was able to work around it, but this option serves no purpose. Why have it at all?
I do like your game. Very much actually. But if there are additional problems related to how language is handled that continues to disrupt the flow of the game, I'll have to pass.

Oh, I don't know. I don't know how many times I've been playing a game and got half way through it and realized I didn't understand a word of the text. I would have loved a choice to switch to a language I know. Or if they just switched it automatically and I could have finally figured out what people were saying. This developer might have come up with a solution to a hidden need. /sarcasm
The dev had a different writer at some point, I think that's where this whole mess up started. If you check the scripts, there are 3 sets of them for 2 languages!
The first 4 days have the main script in english and then 2 translations (in the tl folder) one from english to russian and one from english to... english! (I'm not kidding) The 5th day starts off in english and near the end it changes to russian (maybe that's when it asks you to pick a language again?) and the 6th has the main script in russian with some random english lines of dialogue here and there, a russian to english translation and an english to russian, that's mostly russian to russian...
I don't intend to check all those files, especially since I don't speak russian, but I don't think it's hard to mess something up with those unnecessary extra translations. Plus there's a scene the dev changed and used somewhere else with different characters, but instead of just moving it, he added a couple of jumps and "translated" the names...
It's like he's trying to make his life harder.

Im at that point in my play through ... I would like to answer your question ... But ... All of the text is in Russian and the language change button doesnt work. How do I change it to English.

Game was somewhat interesting but i reached a point when it was in russian, even on choices that seemed important since it led to a scene that seemed very out of place in the story, so i had to stop playing it
Your game seems to be the only one with a mod problem with language, so i think you are doing something overly complicated.
Anyway, the scene i got with either Bonnie or Alice (i dont know because the names kept changing) being dominated by another male is enough to stop playing the game, clearly not for me, and should have the NTR tag honestly because of it

THe renders look great, and nice to see more LI's in the game. Still hoping for more action with the daughter though, and for MC to be more in the dominant role vs the daughter

0.6.1b felt really short - maid, date, that's it. I really was hoping for more, especially with the daughter and not some unavoidable and uninteresting woman (for my taste).
If you got the text not in English but in Russian, the reason is the mod. I had the same problem and only playing without mod solved it.

Also, about the language issues, if you drop the following in a script file it makes sure that the player doesn't leave the language set to 'None':
Drop the same at the beginning of the start label for new players as well.

started it and the at the first scenes you could see this goes the wrong way,where D talks to herself about a good morning dicking....yeahhhh and at the moment they came out of the new school and she fell over the other girl you know she is not for daddy....she is for everybody else in the vn.....so far thats for me ...dont need a slutdaughter who fucks around the vn world....better tag it as cheating and sharing so people like myself dont DL this

After having a look at the mod's code, that is full of russian words, and since in my case the game worked without the mod, but not with the mod, I don't believe that.
it fixed now vander fixed the script thing it should work now with the mod

No, too many people tried to run the game with an outdated WT mod which kills the English right there.
