Thank you for your service, but I'm a bit confused about empty vials.
Is the ability to make vials of water tied to having basic alchemy, or I could still do it with advanced alchemy only? Or I could just make them without both alchemies in current version?

This guide explains how to quickly ramp up to avoid the grind.
It assumes you have the pdf for walkthrough which is linked in the OP as well.
The walkthrough explains step by step how to do each quest, but does not contain advice on how to avoid the grind and which order quests should be done.
If mrttao EZ start guide says "your next step is to upgrade your weapons to silver by doing Corven Quest" then you should refer to to the walkthrough for a detailed step by step on how to do corven quest. Or just follow the in game quest log of you prefer.

I checked and there is no option to melt demon keys into anything.
also shadow stones are not bars
the game is unreasonably grindy. You should cheat. I am mostly annoyed that it is impossible to get cheats after the fact. I am not losing days of progress just to enable cheats. this is very annoying
I don't think I have ever seen any other game that has such a ridiculous limitation. it completely defeats the purpose of cheats.
people normally start with cheats disabled and then later on enable them
also the game is not HARD. not by a longshot. I found the guide instructions on early play to be bad and just went with penny instead. penny is super easy start. No difficulty at all, just tedious. That being said it can be less tedious. one second writing my own guide

Just to let you know: the cheats are a cheatbook MC can get in his house after he pays it back from the Mayor. It let you skip grinding.
And... you know what? you don't need the cheatbook in order to skip "the grinding" when you become strong.
So, most likely you don't even need it that much.
What's the Cheatbook really for, after all? my answer is: you use it when you start a brand new gameplay from scratch.
I did use it when old saves didn't work anymore. I HAD to start a new gameplay, so I used the cheatbook to get cash and some tools to avoid some grinding. That's it.

Saying this game is unreasonable grindy is like saying Zebras are going to fly today, the game’s grinding is reasonable.
It never asked you to click 50 times a button to get an affection point on a determined hour or to kill 20 wolfs to sleep in an house.
The game is not hard of course, and I agree as Ottoeight said with the cheats so I am mot going to repeat.
As for Penny, working in the farm can quickly exhaust stamina, making the rest of the day useless, it’s better knowing the world first.

This is not true.
Stamina is spent on:
1. clearing land = do it once ever. Don't even have to bother with the whole farm. Just clear 6 to 9 spots. (although if you do the whole farm you find a ring... which apparently can be different quality levels and you should save scum. too bad I didn't)
2. harvesting crops = once every ~2 weeks or so
3. planting crops = once every ~2 weeks or so
Watering plants with watering can costs zero stamina and zero time.
Refilling the watering can needs to be done roughly once per 4 days or so and costs zero stamina and ~20 min in game (20 second out of game) to just walk to the water.
If you planted 6 crops you can water all 6 of them every single day for free.
It doesn't even take much time or effort either.
This leaves you with a full day to do anything you want in.
You spend the first 2 days working on the farm to get initial setup. Afterwards you have ~2 weeks of free play time followed by a day of harvesting and planting every 2 weeks.
Maybe spend the first week on the farm if you want to completely clear it.

Most girls have a "visit them once per day every to get +1 affection or +1 corruption. do this until affection is at 20 and corruption is at 10". this requires effectively 30 day delay as you farm affection. And due to the once per day visit limit you have lots of time to go do other girls in the meanwhile.
Not all girls though.
Yasmine corruption takes 3 days to get the required corruption and 5 days to max out.
Kate affection can let you get a dozen points a night. (tip well and beat up dudes)
Raaisha corruption has no timeout so you can just order her to blow you 15 times in a row to max her corruption
a few other examples of shortcuts you can take
The downside of the "efficiency" of hitting several girls a day is that you might trigger a timer in their quest which can mess you up if you have multiple timers running at once.

I too like the cult subplot, but if I have to choose, I like the ones that show us some lore and plot, like Gwen, or ruining Giron and Dave’s life in the mansion, overall all fun
