From what little I can find out (Joiplay's web site is basically useless, IMO, but I was able to turn up some Patreon posts in a DuckDuckGo search), Joiplay has two different versions of the Ren'Py engine, so as to maintain compatibility with games that use older versions of Ren'Py — and the current version of Babysitting Cream was compiled on Ren'Py 7.3.5.606, which is a couple of years old now and several versions behind the current release. So, I think you need to have both Joiplay and the plugin up to date.

If you've got both of them at the latest versions, and it still won't run BSC, then Joiplay must have broken something in either the core program or the plugin, I guess...

Kind of a Novilon question. He / she / they / "whatever, just wash your hands" have a bit more experience than me with the on-going re-write anyway...but they lack in the arts making skillz from what I've seen...

Well... not so much "lack", as "severely out of practice". Plus, I never did a lot of drawing in the "Sonic" character style to begin with, so I'd probably have to burn through a blank sketchbook or two of practice scribbles and sketches before I'd be able to turn out anything that actually resembles the characters myself.

No, no, no, NO. Joiplay itself is free from the Android store; the Patreon is just to support the developers in exchange for being able to beta-test the latest updates to Joiplay before they're available on the Android store. You do not have to pay to get Joiplay or the Renpy plugin.

Also, I have not actually tested this myself; I'm just reporting what I found in a quick web search to see if there had been any recent changes to Joiplay that might explain why some games (like BSC) stopped working after the update.

ok,that's nice,the thing of patreon is sometimes we need to pay to see the posts,if not,the image post looks very bad and forcefully we need to pay to see what is the content of the post and the image,in part is a bad idea because we don't know what we see to be secured to pay for it and patreon cannot permit to see what the post say about what they doing so yeah,the patreon thing is something... to be used for bad intentions too.

I managed to get BSC working properly on the current version of Joiplay and Ren'Py on the PlayStore, before adding the game executable to Joiplay, go into setting and switch the "Use Legacy Version" option to on and it will work right.

That makes sense; like I said, the existing versions of Babysitting Cream are/were compiled with Ren'Py 7.3.5.606, and I believe (based on the small amount of info I found above) that 7.3.5 and earlier is what Joiplay considers "legacy" now.

(I have to say, though, I really don't understand why you guys want to play it on a phone... the game's UI certainly isn't designed for it, and it seems like the text would be much too small and hard to read on a five-inch phone screen...)

well... i played elana champions of lust in the phone very well,there only one part i have trouble and can't finished very well and is the minigame of the two musician elfs where we need to press 3 buttons in the correct order like a guitar hero game,i can't pass more of that part but in babysitting cream is going more easy,just we need to select the options like that game of phones named ''episode'' where we can see and follow some comics with differents decisions,lamentably the comics you only try it six or seven times and you can't never repeat it to see the decisions where we need to pay with gems and you can't begin the comic again from the first time again because you ended and repeat to see the ending over and over again in the 1st slot without reseting it so these comics are blocked completely but yeah... that's the game named ''episode'',babysitting cream is just different of them,you don't need to do some strange moving with the tactil or something,just press the button of the decisions and everything is fine.

Inexpensive Android tablets are a thing; for under $200 I picked up a 10", 1920x1200, 6GB/128GB "Phablet" that I can drop a phone SIM into or use standalone.

I got it working again.
What I did was simply unstall the JoiPlay app and re-installed again. The design surprisingly was different from before and I got to agree some new terms of service and privacy again. I launched the game again and it worked.
What it turns out (for me), I was wasting my time "serching" for an update for the old version while they already got a new version waiting to be downloaded or reinstalled in my phone.
So then: keep an eye for the updates AND for new versions of the app(s) to reinstall.
That would also mean that the "Legacy Version" is already on, in case it's your first time installing the app (I checked the Settings and it's indeed already on).

it's just an april fools joke,this looks like these videogames magazines from so much time,i loved these classic videogames magazines,i enjoyed the parts of the videogames maps,i remind one where appears the jurassic park maps from sega genesis,i always loved to see the maps of the pump station and the visitor's centers and everything,is a well made map,saddly... these maps are not uploaded in vgmaps too but it's ok,this bring me so much memories of my childhood too from the channel of magic kids where level x appears in tv,so much cool games to see and known,so much secrets and hidden contents too,very well done novilon,mmmhhh... videogames magazines like these.
