People seem to treat business as personal. At the end of the day, people are human, so you treat business as business. Why should you trust some dude you don't even know? What incentive do you have? What incentive does he have to make what you want him to make if you are giving him free money for nothing?
If everyone took a step back and asked these questions, you wouldn't have a problem.

Did he give any reason why he stopped developing his game ? The last time I read this thread few people here swore absolute sacred faith to him and how the dev is back with insatiable passion after the patron changes and he's working with insurmountable focus

Those were the discord cheerleaders. They told us that a build that got released had a virus, even after it was shown to be identical with the release that he did. They still blame us for him leaving.
He made up ridiculous stories for why his updates were late, and told people to fuck off if they questioned him. Of course he never stopped taking monthly payments...
The truth is probably closer to the fact that he lost the support of his mods and closer supporters after lying to them about things like the 2.0 update not being the same as the alpha they tested.
About a month ago, he logged in to discord after being gone and started telling his discord cheerleaders that he's back and he'll work on his game 'in his own pace'. He said he was 'burned out'. So burned out you can't spend 5 minutes putting payments on hold eh? So burned out you can't tell your main patreon supporters? Even a month later?
Either way, his latest lie temporarily boosted his money to over $2000, but now it's dropped to nearly $1000 and he still hasn't posted that he's 'back'. Because of course, he isn't, and was hoping to screw the last people who believe in him.

Yeah but this is a game that's been collecting dust. He also didn't gain money the last couple of months when it dropped from $5000 to nearly $1000. It's all due to him posting on discord recently.

What I meant was that you said someting about barely above 1k, when I looked the first time it was at 1,4k and a minute later it was at 1,5k. Now it's 1632 with 9 patrons less.

It was down to $1168, kinda wish I took a picture. Somebody had to have noticed and brought it back up (I know people are saying this is usual, but again it wasn't for him, but he has a 'special' group on discord that believes his word).
It went up about $200 after he told his discord cheerleaders that he was 'back', so... Let the cheerleaders get ripped off tbh
