I was wondering if we have an estimated time for the next update release? Not to be a pest about it but I love this story especially with the police chief and the main MC. If he gets embroiled into the fray with dangerous...shit it's going to make her nuts witch will be great! As I said one page back this is the relationship that is the most interesting to me and I love her look and personality even more! She seems quite upset here

You can request Thread Ownership right? That'll let you update the thread itself.

Finished playing through the reworked game, and I have to say that it's a much improved game than before. The inner monologue is kept to minimal and the dialogue now flows better. Also nice that the storytelling is more focused on MC's point of view instead of constantly switching to the others like in the original version. Though I don't mind switching POV to someone else, if it were to be used in the future, I hope it's kept minimal and not too often.

Sancho also looks like a badass. Please don't make him a traitor and keep him a bro.

In conclusion, well done on the rework, hopefully you can maintain the same level of quality, and really hope nothing but the best in the future for you.

What did we learn from the first release?
The MC is a homicide detective going undercover in a drug operation. He had a childhood friend and they considered themselves like brother and sister. His only friends are fellow detectives, Sancho is the primary. He considers the Chief to be like his mom. She considers him like a son. She dresses and acts inappropriately. The Chief is afraid due to the highly dangerous nature of this undercover operation. The Chief has a broken relationship with her daughter that she considers unrepairable and not as important as the MC is to her.

Despite claiming to have no friends and family, the MC is very close to his former babysitter, Grace, and her parents. Until recently, he called them on a regular basis. Grace recently moved back into town to take a new job. She left suddenly and did not have any contact with the MC despite being practically brother and sister. Motorcycles and cars are important enough to discuss twice.

The school has a drug problem where one student almost overdosed. Another student may be missing. The teacher has a bad relationship with her husband. There are four classmates: Alice, Brie, Afina, and Ryan. The women are not interested in anyone other than themselves. They are unlikable and unapproachable. Alice believes everyone is hitting on her. She is generally unpleasant. Yet, she comments about her friend sounding like a spoiled brat. That friend, Brie, is toxic and a bully. Afina, who can't be bothered to remember the MC's name, does not like Brie. She randomly overshares information about Brie. Unfortunately, the MC will have to talk with them for the investigation and class. The hallway has a shiny floor.

Intelligence offered by an informant was so critical that it was worth an immediate operation that does not involve anyone except the MC's partner...And pulling him from undercover. As an undercover agent, the MC uses his mother's maiden name, Vineyard. The name is very well-known and has important significance in the city due to the family's power, money, and influence...and apparently, buying everything. The MC has seen dead bodies before but suddenly feels sick.

I really like the rework. The lack of inner monologues means I can actually read the story without it dragging everything out and boring the shit out of me.

The game mainly focuses on the MC so the story isn't constantly teleporting between other characters and I think it flows better. The posing and expressions in the renders are much better and actually match what is happening in the story more and show how the characters are feeling without having to resort to obnoxious monologues of the characters thoughts.

It seems like Mrs Saito is one of the ones that have been changed and she doesn't make me instantly hate her anymore, though that might be due to not being able to read her thoughts anymore.

I do like what I've seen with this rework and I hope now that it is out of the way you can focus on updating the game without having to go back and rework things that have already been done.

soo how reworked is the rework? I had a very difficult time with the original chapter 1 and I want to ask if it's worth exploring this again.
