I mean, if you need concrete proof of that, just look at how many discussion pages there are for this game - games that have been around 3 times as long only have a small fraction of the player involvement that your game has. And when you were stuck between countries - at least one of whom couldn't accept you or your art - I am guessing that your Patreon donations went up. I have very little interest in transgender porn, and yet I played Kathooey - just to see what sorts of plot lines you would develop out. I'm fairly certain that I'm not the only one who did so, either.
That's why a lot of your fans went a little bonkers when you decided to redo the game, removing many if not all of the aspects that we liked. It was like introducing New Coke; they were happy with the Classis Coke, and didn't see the need for the change. For myself, I am disappointed that Yoon is never going to explore that dark path of corruption, part of which required that tattoo and the involvement of the mobsters.
So, we do care about you; you created a game that tugged at a number of different kinky threads within most of us. We're just holding our breath because we are worried that the game will wander too far from our core interests. And that worry is borne out of our appreciation of both you and your games.
My first priority is to people who provided constructive feedback to me. I demonstrated it in a genuine way. However, a few people (1-3) have gotten really disrespectful to me. As I already said in naughty 40,

Anyway, I'm thinking about stepping away from this discussion for a time. It caused me to lose focus on what I was doing at the time. Last year, I learnt what my followers want and what I want; starting with this first update, I will try to balance the two. Only then will I remain motivated for the project until its completion.

Please don't lose heart. I've not played the update yet but I fully intend to provide you with some feedback of value. There is probably a vocal 10% of players in any given game that will never be pleased no matter what creative decisions you make but they are not the ones that are putting in the work. I will say that so far the artwork looks great and the premise is intriguing. I do agree that it is possible to get too engrossed in discussions here, and if you do choose to step away know that many will be eagerly awaiting the time you return.

.I'm not too aware of what's transpiring both on the forums or in your real-life situation, but from what I've seen I like how transparent you seem to be, you express yourself honestly and lay down the truth as it is, you show your vulnerability which most people don't dare do, especially developers, I think that's very brave of you, and a sign of someone with a good heart, you clearly care about your fan base and that's why you're here active in this forum.

Non-response bias plays a big role in the negativity, most people who played the game aren't here, and response bias is also at play in that a portion of the people who'll bother to comment here are the ones who (for some reason) really disliked the game or you personally.
Just make sure you do what makes you feel the most content, that's what really matters.
Well, there will be some individual who may not care about it. There will be some who may be impatience. There will be some who support you in this forum. There will be others who support you in Patreon or other sites.
I been busy lately and haven't check on the update here. My point of view is to see how you express the VN/story. I rather you provide what and how you want the story. I respect how you like to take some feedback from others. There will be some dislike and likes. You are the developer/part of developer team to determine how to deliver your VN/story.
My feedback so far:
(1) great graphic designing
(2) Good story and options
(3) If there any audio, I cannot comment it since I do not use sound at this moment.
This is based on from the start to maybe recent release version or previous release version. Now, it seems that you informed us that you and your team redoing the VN. I would be looking forward to restart from the beginning to see how it goes. I haven't have the time to check out Kathoey to see how that one is. Overall do the best you and your team can do, do not over stress yourself from major negative feed-backs. No one is perfect and and most VN/game are not perfect. there will always be pros and cons on each one.
