I have the .04final version but it says that this is the end of this update and leaves on a cliffhanger. Am I missing something? I am awaiting eagerly the next installment of this game (assuming that that wasn't the end)

It just means, it is the final version of v0.4.
The chapter 5 is coming maybe early July, it was supposed to be mid-June but the developer got sick so it got delayed.

Like the flu and what has always been called the "common cold", the 'rona is an endemic and will stay. Considering it is 99.7% survivable on average, I think we can move on with life.
