I can play, the issue is I just can’t always read what the characters are fully saying, I don’t mind playing as is, just didn’t know if anyone knew about the issue and just thought I should let you know.

Maybe the fact that nothing happened WAS the mischief.
I could see her doing that just to have a pet timeline to have her fun in.

Update 5.4 beta is now live on my subscribe star and coffee pages.
Alright. So I'm going to be super busy over the next couple of weeks and will likely be out of town when the next update was due to go up. So I'm just going to put up everything that I have done so far since it has been so long since I released a substantial DDoS update.
And on that note, please keep in mind this is still super rough and I haven't accounted for all the possible paths yet. This just focuses on the big ones for now. Also, just a heads up. For the sake of my sanity, I will be removing some of the paths from the beginning of the just to help narrow in some things. For instance, I will remove the ability to start dating Evaline. It is such a hard option to get in the first place and I am willing to best most people reading this didn't even know it was an option. I still plan on allowing you to get into a relationship with Evaline but I will do that later when it intersects with more major events so. The game as a whole wont change and again it will just be paths that are rare but having them causes a lot of extra work to keep track of. And I know they haven't been found very often because I stopped updating some a long time ago with a note that said if you found this path send me a message so I know to continue the story line and not a single person has done that yet. I will make it clear what I have removed with each update and if it effects you it is probably a good idea to start a new game.
As always let me know any bugs or problems you find or just any general thoughts on the new or old content.

Can you give us some more hints on which paths have been updated?
- Is mom still out of town?
- Any more with Aunt and possibly mom?
- Is the sorority party finished?
Or which characters have more content?

This is a continuation of the sorority party.
When that is done then I will move to the Date with Ms. Harper.
Once that is done then it will be mom's return

Crap, I really liked the stuff with Evaline, didn't realize it was hard to do, I ended up on that path

It's not going away forever. Think of it more as I am moving it from the beginning of the game where only a few people can get the outcome even if they are working towards it to later in the game where more people will be able to find it more naturally.
The problem comes with it just adds to drastic of a variable and takes away a lot of time in development for a path that is extremely burred.
I am actually very happy that people like Evaline as much as they do but I'll be honest she was never meant to have as much content as she does in the early game. I just felt that with how the story was playing out that Vivian would have invited her to stay with her and that is was a natural thing to do, but I had never intended that to happen so now I had to add additional content for her that as much as I like it and am happy with it has added a lot of extra work.
In many ways it would be nice if I had a team of writers where I would write a scenario and then their job would be to rewrite that scenario but accounting for different possibilities

Is it worth holding a poll to see what are the popular routes? For example from what I've seen, most play either Sub Viv with Des, or Dom Viv with Eva and/or Mom. That might help work out what routes can safely be postponed until later withoit losing too many supporters.
I liked the path that leads to an argument between Eva, Des and Viv at Rebecca's party. It allowed to learn what happened between Des and Eva from Eva's point of view.
It's a hard path to find, and oddly enough I found it quickly the first few times I started this game. But since I didn't have a save of this path, I tried to go back, and I had to do about ten tries to get there.
I understand the need to simplify the game. For the path where Viv rejects her mother, and where she tells her aunt that she will give an answer on Sunday or Monday for her mother's return from Germany, will this path still exist?
Otherwise my favorite path at the moment is where Eva becomes Viv's sister and Des becomes Vivian's pet, according to the code it's DomLov, so Viv leaves the choice to Des.
But I'm also looking forward to the date with Harper (casual)
And especially thank you for the game, I played dozens of times, and I know by looking at the code that there are still some paths that I have not done. I will keep the version 5.3 to discover them gradually even if they disappear from 5.4.

So that conversation will still be possible assuming you get into a fight with des at the party. You just won't be able to be dating Evaline at the time.
Everything containing rejecting your mom will stay as is. I feel it is very important to keep the option with turning her down in tact and everything that comes with. Also doing so is very easy to get even if I don't think a lot of people choose that option.
And I haven't actually removed anything yet. I will remove it in the future and going forward in my coding I am not going to worry about adding content for it.
