They prefer the dark. If you have to use a flash, and the Vampiress isn't wearing a vile of blood on a chain around her neck, she could die permanently. So, if you don't know, best to use the light available and no flash.

(If you know where this is from, big time bonus points to you.)
You know what 'exposure' means? It doesn't have anything to do with using a flash.

For all y'all that don't know her name is Zina the Zombie. Also for those of you that think I'm not gonna tell the story about how she died, you are poorly mistaken. It gets pretty dark. Don't worry, I won't do this to often. View attachment 1956406
I guess there might be a few people reading who haven't played the game yet, I can't imagine how anyone who has played would think you'd shy away from telling that story. I'm half expecting you to not just have her telling it, but showing it in graphic detail.

I'm fully aware of what it means, but I was flipping the context to try to add some amusement. I will not attempt to create levity off of anything you say ever again.

Fuck that. I'll just continue to be me and if you don't get it, you don't get it. ;)

Sorry, it's just that 'the pictures are dark because the room is supposed to be dark' is a massive pet peeve of mine that always pisses me off. Like, do people not realise that both cameras and our eyes have variable exposure? Have they never gone from a dark room to a bright one or vice-versa and noticed that their eyes adjust?

Trying to think of a scene for Brook and the MC. Something outside the loft. We've spent a lot of time there. THINKING...THINKING...THINKING...Maybe an arcade.

What do y'all think?

mc “Just let me for warn you, I am a god when it comes to air hockey?”

mc “The only person better than me at it is Georgina, and that's because she Canadian.”

mc “Nobody can beat those maple leaf, syrup drinking, beaver loving...Hmm. I like beavers too.”

mc “Scratch the beaver loving. I love beaver too.”

mc “Let's see. What else can I say to trash Canada?”

mc “Hmm.”

br “They apologies a lot.”

mc “Ah, yes.”

mc “They apologies more than a New York City District Attorney to a serial killer.”

mc “How was that?”

br “That works.”

Yes, but our eyes still see things more "darkly" in the lower light situations, and I can adjust my SLR to achieve different "brightness" when photographing a person or an object. A person with a milky white skin tone will appear less bright under low light, while someone who is more a caramel in bright light might be milk chocolate in low light. Our eyes adjust to the darkness to gather in as much available light as they can, but they don't create light and make things appear the same in a bright room as they do in a dark room.

Don't recall hearing of places that did cow brain burgers, but fried sheep brain sandwiches were popular in the Midwest, particularly the more rural areas.

Lived in Texas most of my life - was exiled to the Midwest for a few years in the late 90s where I saw the brain sandwich all the time. I was very fond of the pork cutlet sandwich that was also popular up that way. Oddly, I first ate ostrich when I was up there, but have had everything else here. When in Texas, never ask what's in the chili or the sausage unless you really want to know. ;) Also, if one of the answers to the "chili" question is "beans", then it isn't Texas chili. Beans are a condiment here and cooked separately. :)
