Honestly, like someone said earlier, the core problem is that he doesn't really have rivals on what he does.
There's some great games out here that are blameless, that eveyone loves and with super nice devs (thinking about Mist for exemple), but MNL is kinda different.
There's really ton of content, a vaste univers with ton of characters, i really don't see another game that's close to this. Maybe corruption, but the art style is completely different. And again, only MNL have this style.
And there's also the fact thata bunch of characters don't have sex scenes yet, which is kind of a constant teasing. Like i really like the Gym teaching, she's there since literally the first version of the game and she still doesn't have anything.

So theses kind of things makes you want the guy to stay around and continue updating his stuff, because there's still much to do and nobody else does that, at least not this way.
And i think that's why his patreon is still big (like, a whole month of work's worth in most country...), and why he has people that will absolutely defend him no matter what.
Because if he stops, nobody else will give you what he gave you. So the more he says he's in a fragile mental state, the more people will be nice and understanding to him, because you may think reading backlash will make him break.
I alwayse wanted to give him at least the benefit of the doubt, i tought announcing he'l make an update in 6 month in advance was pretty toughtfull, so you know you won't have shit for all this time and he won't be annoyed by backlash because of delays.
But i really didn't expected this.

And to think he would say there's too much work (and indeed anyone that even tried to make an rpgmaker game must know how hard it must be to get this game working fine) yet still rework tons of stuff which add tons of bugs is beyond me. Nobody asked for this, and he said he wanted to finish this game in 2 update and make a new game anyway. So what the fuck?

i agree with you on several points this game has a potential that no other game on this site has and of course it is the total merit of BON the character development the creation of each interconnected or individual story of each one is something that no other game gives you not to mention that in most other games you repeat and repeat to go straight to the sex scene this I agree with you that we have to give the benefit of the doubt because no one knows the real person behind the name BON so we don't really know if the what he says is true or not, but with each update, with each delay that passes, the hunger for money he has becomes clearer.
it seems that he is just postponing the end of the game knowing that many will not accompany him in the second game
I'm stuck with this story and I would like to see the end of it but I won't make any effort to follow the second game I'm extremely disappointed with this update but I would really like to see it finished.
damn BON you are great at what you do created this work of art captivated us with your characters full of life and now you act like a son of a bitch with these shit updates i don't know if i die of hate or laugh because i know i'll still come back here to see the end of this story

Just a heads up, not that I think everyone over the planet waits for my saves, but for those who do: I ain't gonna play an unstabble release, don't expect me to update the saves while the release is "pre-alpha" (and godamn, I knew he wouldn't deliver everything he promissed, but I was expecting at least mafia or Laura content...)

Can someone confirm that in the pre alpha there's only these scenes with Lucy or someone saw more ?
Cuz I've seen more scenes with MC in the shower with Lucy giving him a BJ as well as sex in the bed.

I'm just making sure that i haven't missed some scenes during Lucy pt1 quest.

Dont read into that. A lot of patrons will sign on for an update. download, then quit before the first of the month.

remember, lucy said 'I just had sex with two guys, one was Jack and the other was in high school and it was really bad I don't even remember and i felt so bad' when she talks with maria but in the current update lucy acting like a slut and that's what makes me cancer. mental illness is affecting beggar bad i guess he dont remember his own game
