So, first off, sorry if I'm necroposting, the thread is a month old with no new replies yet ^_^;
Secondly, this mod is planned to overhaul the portraits from *everything?* Like, status effects, poses, bad ending screens, events, etc? Mostly asking cuz that is such a heavy task on a game revolving around status effects lol. I've not dug into the game files as much, but I do know that there are separate poses and expressions for almost every scenario, bad ends included, so if this is true, then godspeed dood. Plus, the models look awesome too, better than the bland cookie-cutter ones.

Nah, it's cool. It's not a dead post, just really quiet until I make more progress. I have a feeling that this is going to be the normal for this thread until I make the actual mod available.
To answer your question, yes. I'll be releasing mod updates in waves. My first goal is to replace the menu, standard pics and most common status ailments with the new models. Then I'll do the more uncommon ailments and finally the endings, cutscenes, etc. That's just a really early "I'm gonna throw together a very basic plan" kinda thing, so it's probably gonna change. Thanks for the kind words about the models, they take a lot of time right now, since I'm just making their base forms right now. Once that's done, I have a feeling that making the ailments will be a little faster since I'll already have a base to work with.

Alisha's and Jyla's models and menu pics are complete. Have a look and tell me what you think?
For Jyla, I gave her a pose because I wanted to showcase her daggers and the fact that she technically is a political figure of a city. Once again, I took some liberties on her outfit a bit while paying homage to her original design and color scheme. Her hair is also technically a ponytail, since that hairstyle would fit for a thief/stealth class fighter. It's just big because I imagine her with a lot of hair, which makes it almost look like she has long wavy hair down when viewed from the front.

Annie has been created! I really like her design and I'm looking forward to playing with her. I played a little more into the western style, since it seemed like her default image was a shooter (based on the naming conventions), but once I play through the added content, I'll make changes if her default class isn't a shooter type.
I haven't played the game since before the last 2 charas were added, so I'm gonna go and play the new content very soon so I can make tweaks and adjustments to the character cards before I release them for use in KKS.

I also happened to complete Yterre's model tonight as well. My new meds are kickin' ass. Much more productive than I've been with this now.

Commoner has been updated to give her a more basic look, better suited for her... well... basicness. I also completed Samona, which was my most difficult and tedious build out of the 10 playable characters. I wanted to lean more into her Middle-Eastern Indian heritage in her outfit, and I hope I did her justice.
I really like how all of the girls look now, so with this, Goal 1 is complete. Next is to start on the various Status ailments. In the meantime, enjoy the new Commoner and the long-awaited Samona!
