Right, but he didn't realize all that was involved with the update and really didn't have a complete vision of what he wanted to accomplish at the start.
Also, there's the 90-90 rule in software development.
Let's also not forget Hofstadter's law.
In addition, every pre-tech update was written for code to fit first in the old code and then it has to make sure it fits in the new updated code that is to come out - so every pre-tech update added more time to the tech update for posing and coding (I assume DC made the art for 16:9 to go in the new version and cropped what he needed for the current version).
And once you get underway making updates and revisions, you find things that you would like to implement and decide not to put them off to a future revision. While you're in there now, you might as well get it done up front.

Let's just hope he actually releases a complete tech update and not a "Part 1 of whatever" BS.

Honestly, I don't give a fuck if he decides to call it by a different star name in the universe and isn't completed until he counts all the stars. I play for free and there's new content of some sort on a nearly regular basis. I was taught the old maxim: Never look a gift horse in the mouth. I think people are hung up on old school ideas on gaming products that have been done away with in the past 15 years. No game is every truly finished - there's always something more to add or update or revamp or reboot.
There are only 3 scenes with the nun.

A tech update in the middle of an ongoing project is almost never a good idea and I'm surprised all the people who voted for this haven't learned that by now.

The development team hasn't communicated in here in a LONG time. If you have suggestions, you should join the Discord. Also, that's what part of this whole tech update is about, to make the mobile experience better. It may be awhile. The development team is also designing a whole new UI for mobile -- see more here: #66,324.

I am actually Surprise is only took 2 month since the last Pre tech update. I always assume the Update is every 6 month or so.

Yes.Bruh... it feels like this games been getting pre-tech upgrades forever. Is it really that difficult & time consuming to implement?
Could be. And still free to anyone from the developer's website. Enjoy your free entertainment!

They probably shouldn't have done it then. It has clearly slowed down development.
Happy I stopped supporting this game before all this pre-tech stuff.

when people voted for the tech update back then DC said it would take as long as a regular update so 3-4 months. no one would have voted for it knowing it would take 2 years and more just to get bigger backgrounds
