I don't think so, although that's an excellent question for Anekin69, who posted in June that work on updates was to continue last month. I assume life has gotten in the way or the update is sizable enough that it's just not finished yet.

Any game which has this problem (lack of updates, many excuses, etc.) basically from very the start, will be abandoned very quickly.

Yep. It might be either: low / zero patrons makes him give up on the project; or he gave up on the project and so has low / zero patrons. Either way, it's not a good sign.

They have that little Patrons because of how long they went without any news or updates. The last post was something about personal struggles. I followed on a $1 package until about a month ago. The game had an interesting concept and would have been good to see how it developed, which is a shame, really.

Hard to say, TBH. At first, it was something like a 3-month delay (I think? I can't remember for sure). But this last update was quite delayed. However, I suspect the developer has RL things that couldn't be helped. It's hard to know these days, especially b/c IDK where the dev's from. But if it's the very eastern part of Europe, rumor has it there's a war going on. So if the dev's tied up in that mess, it's very likely he had to find somewhere safer to be. Even if that's not the case, there are RL things that come up all the time (death / illness of loved ones, illness / loss of job for the dev, etc.). I assume something along those lines has happened since March that caused the delay with this release.
