Nice update in my opinion, but i'm missing 2 scenes:

- I don't get the choice to kiss Melissa after the date
- I don't get the sexting with Erika, after Stacy enters the room to check for the ringtone

I played from beginning of Episode 2 several times with various decisions, i tried with Jeevants Mod and i tried with the Ipaqi-Modifikation.

Any ideas where i got the wrong turn?
prolly made mistake on ch1.

For Melissa my choices were, from ch1-3:
-explain vaguely
-put hand on shoulder
-are you ?
-(what you do with the check doesn't seem to matter)
-you have a wonderful figure/you have nice nice breast
-i insist/let's split it at least
-a fair amount

No clue about Erika.

Exactly my choices. Weird. Thx anyway :)

It's entirely anyone's choice whether or not to support (or even play) the games I make. Not gonna question that. But I do want to give full context as to not spread misinformation when people without any context reads comments like these and take it at face value. Especially if your objective is to "warn" people, they do deserve to know the full story before making their own choice.

Firstly, saying "history of finishing his games" makes it sound like I've made several games and finished none. Which is false. I've made one other game. And it's technically finished. It has a couple of endings but not all. So it's finished and also unfinished depending on how you look at it. Regardless of semantics, I've explained the entire situation regarding the status of that game here: . I tried to make it clear that it's not abandoned, but we are also unsure of how to proceed. So in the meantime we're moving forward with this. I still have plans to finish FF, but I don't want to do so half-assed. Like people who suggest that I write the endings. I think people would prefer it not be finished at all after they see how "good" of a writer I am. Also, the reason for the previous games hiatus was because the writer went MIA. This game has an entirely new writer. So hopefully that was just a one-time unfortunate event.

Now that I've given at least a better understanding of the situation, people are free to not support or play this game if they so desire.

not really misinformation...
you have another game that's not finished, it's a harem game, and harem ending does not exist.. ergo not finished..
not really hard.

anyway on topic, did you or your writer managed to screw up a military MC ?
I mean, for a dude who was in the military he has 0 backbone... he's a creep and a pushover.
I know I sound harsh, but .. that's how he is... I mean if that was the idea, on how to portray, congratulations to you or your writer, whoever decided to portray the MC like that.

GL with the project though, from how it looks at the moment, I'm probably not gonna play it, and probably a lot of other people.

Misinformation in that "games" is plural whilst I have only done a single other game. Ergo, misinformation. And as I mentioned earlier it's "finished" depending on how you look at it. You can play it from start to finish. But certain endings aren't in place. That's just semantics though. Not a hill I'm gonna die on.

As for your other question, I have not had any hand in writing the story for either of the two games. I've given some slight thoughts and inputs. But ultimately both games have been written by a different person respectively.

Not a pushover but a nice guy doing nice things for those he cares about.
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.

How is the mc doing things for the people he cares about, if he doesn't even know them :WaitWhat:

The MC goes to see the house he received in the will, doesn't know anyone, a few days later he practically gives it away , start paying rent and have to accept the rules, surely in the next update he will dress as a Maid and go around cleaning the house :KEK: , the mc isn't written like a "nice guy", he's written as an idiot.

The only way this game's story would continue working as-is is if it leaned hard into the MC being a submissive, and went full femdom. I'd hate the game and would absolutely never touch it with a ten-foot pole, but it would at least be consistent with the characterization of, well, EVERYONE IN THE FUCKING GAME SO FAR.

lol you did write in that patreon post that " Just so that it's perfectly clear that the next game doesn't take priority over FF. To finish FF will always be a top priority. " well more that year later after that statement and here we are no update to FF and you are focusing on new game :WaitWhat: and if its finished as you are saying here why is it onhold? be a man just take the L and either tag FF as abandoned or finished(badly)... its not writers foult for being MIA that is just your excuse so you dont have to take responsibility and as dev that is your reputation and its that i am warning about!

I'm guessing you didn't read what I said because your comment confuses me. The new game still doesn't take priority over FF. But I also don't know how to proceed with continuing FF. The hope is obviously that the writer will come back to finish the script. I also said that I don't want to continue with it half-assed. Sure I could write the ending myself, but I don't think anyone would actually enjoy that. So in the meantime, we're doing the new game. The new writer might make the ending for FF. Or maybe I'll find someone else entirely. But like I said, I don't just want to rush to a solution and make a poor conclusion.

Rushing to finish FF just so I can continue with something else is in my opinion the opposite of having FF take priority. I don't just want to finish FF. I want to finish FF with quality.

I'm saying it's finished and unfinished depending on how you look at it. Again, please read what I said. The reason I'm being particular about this semantics is because someone without any context might read "unfinished" and just not bother finding out what that means. When in reality they are fully capable of playing the game from start to finish, but they won't be able to see all endings. Now if that still doesn't interest them, that's fine and understandable. But unfinished to most people sounds like it just abruptly stops in the middle of the story, when that's not the case here.

its not writers foult for being MIA that is just your excuse so you dont have to take responsibility and as dev that is your reputation and its that i am warning about!
I'm not even sure how to respond to this one. Are you implying it's my fault the writer went MIA? I'm not a writer myself, I had no reasonable way to finish it. It took me a long time just to find the writer for this new game. And we did discuss him writing the ending for FF, but we didn't want to set that in stone if for instance the writer came back.

I am taking responsibility. But only for the things that I myself have any control over. The writer going MIA is not one of those things. Me putting FF on hold for instance I take full responsibility over as it was my decision. And I don't think it was a wrong decision. I've explained why I did it and people are free to feel how they want about it.

PS: I have no control over the tags on my games here. It's completely the moderators who choose if it's "on-hold" or "abandoned" regardless of my say.

What content will this game have in the future, what exactly should I expect?
Feminist, another lesbian sex festival game?

What will our relations with love interests be like?
If there's romance, I hope it's not just a kiss on the lips.

And yet, a ton of incest games are sold on Patreon quite comfortably by using variables, non-incest default terms, and an "unofficial" patch on LewdPatcher. Yes, the unpatched versions are silly and nonsensical. No, it doesn't matter, because people don't play them unpatched.

Sadly, "tons of people do it" isn't a valid retort to Patreon staff. Like I've said, they've already complained multiple times. Repeat offense is just asking for the banhammer. I thought the same as you when I first started my account. I saw what people were doing and I pretty much did the same, yet Patreon staff complained nonetheless.

That's not what I'm saying. There aren't any bannable offenses to Patreon in those games, because they're meeting the letter of Patreon's requirements, and their games are quite successful. It lets the game be played as intended without the players needing to use anything more than a single patch that is never available or mentioned on Patreon.

There are big-name games which are specifically and overwhelmingly about incest, and which are still advertised on Patreon. As written and released on Patreon, the players see things like a person living with their "roommates" and their "landlady", so it meets Patreon's requirements despite being nonsensical. Patreon doesn't care about believability, they have a specific set of rules and they don't give a shit as long as the letter of those rules are met. Then an "unofficial" patch is released by someone anonymous to LewdPatcher, it gets linked in the OP here, no one ever mentions it on Patreon, and everyone plays the game as it was intended, while Patreon's requirements are 100% met.

The hard way to patch (from a dev/writer POV): The patch replaces all script files that have the "roommate/landlady" type of relationship terms, replacing them with the intended correct terms ("sister/mom") (these types of patches have to be updated every release).

The easy way to patch (from a dev/writer POV): When the game is written, it uses variables for all relationship terms, then sets those relationship terms' defaults to things like "roommate", "landlady", "tenant", etc. The patch then replaces the defaults ONLY (this is also known as a 'versionless' patch, because it only rarely requires updating).

Patreon doesn't even seem to care if the variable names directly reference the intended relationship. I've seen games with variable settings like:
Python:
$ default momName = "landlady"
$ default sisName = "roommate"
$ default broName = "roommate"
# et cetera
And those games are just fine on Patreon.
