The Unity version is still in a test bed format, so it is not yet "content adjacent" to the RPG Maker version right now. They are still moving everything around to it, as they had to give up on the RPG Maker version due to the hard limits of that engine for what they tried to make. For now, play the RPG Maker version. But expect to see the Unity version be the complete game version eventually.

The first companion/sex slave you capture is a femboy elf, and from what I have seen of him, you can choose to watch or skip his lewd scenes. As for the other two companions, they are female, and any future characters are probably going to end up being female because mc intends to breed them.

That mushroom boss is no joke. Once you get caught in a bad spot you can kiss most of your lifebar goodbye and it takes soooo long to try again.

Is there just not a third area? I have cleared Savanna and Forest on hell till lv90 and the goblin area is not opening.... is there smth i need to do to unlock?
Also is the game anywhere else available but not steam? I wanted to buy it cuz i enjoyed playing it but for some reason it does niether show up in my steam client and i also can not find it in the browser version

That makes sense, havent gotten there yet. The lag kills my runs before I can. I occasionally remember to press the pause button so the lag can disappear. But it usually kills my run either way.
Is all of Charlotte's content "trap" content or do "they" eventually turn into a "she". Not that they need to, it's just not for me.

every event I've seen has a skip option. So I'd say yes.
Also, it seems competely optional to progress a given character. There is only the mandatory event for finishing the forest...and that does have a skip option.
hope they change the only way to get steam archivements, for now the only way is to play the dumb rpgm version 
Look at the file size on each. Do know that they will be going forward with the Unity version from now on.
The current RPGM version is the last "stable/up-to-date" version of the game. For the time being, you can call that the "Real Game".
HOWEVER!
They STOPPED making that the "Official" release due to the harsh database limitations that RPGM has for games like these. Thus, they decided to change engines this past year (2022). The Unity version currently hosted is a "test bed" version, so it has the least amount of content... at the moment, anyway. But, they will be porting everything found on the current RPGM version to Unity over time, in order to make Unity the "Official" version moving forward. For now, play the RPGM version.
(This reminds me of sooo many threads of other games that keep repeating the same question. Just use the Search function on this site next time. It hasn't been that many pages ago (based on the default post count view amount per page) since we got this update explained, either).
