I may have missed it, but... any idea how long until the next update? No rush of course, just curious! Great game so far!

I'm currently working on the update for WS, which is almost done. After that I'll start working on the BM update, so no eta yet.
It's not really that important tbh, the important decisions are quite easy to spot, every other decision you make will only change dialogues and a few scenes (mostly in future updates).
All the choices are quite self explaining and you can't really make a "wrong" decision. You can of course reject a girl, but again, that's easy to spot.

Boo. Looking forward to more Ellie and Kathrine stuff. Rachel is kind of boring, imo, and her story is weird. Guess the whole bad memories thing is mostly about her, but I just have a hard time feeling interested, and Jada is a bit too slutty for my taste. Ellie may be just as horny, but as least she plays innocent, and the wake up bed scene was awesome. Katherine is probably the most interesting, imo. Puts up a nice front, but she's vulnerable and wants something. Interested to see what happens with Cafe girl, too. Maybe that's more of a traditional girlfriend relationship? Guessing there is something with the girl from work, but didn't click for me and didn't do any of her path, or whatever is there for her.
Oh yeah, anyone know of any other good female protag games? I like this one a lot, but since it might be awhile, I suppose I'll check out some others in the mean time.

Heavy Five is great. You're able to select both gender and race for your character. Also, with all the different paths in the game it has quite a lot of replayabilty.There are loads, look for the female protag tag; I can personally recommend Heavy Five though
I had tried to do the female protag search, but a lot of stuff popped up, and I'm mostly just looking for good VN's that don't have an anime look to it.

Loved the story so far, keeping in mind I've only played as a female MC. Only path I didn't like was Katherine's. Despite the thing later where the MC rationalizes that Katherine could have beaten her if she really didn't want the MC to touch her, her sex scenes still felt very much non-consensual to me. Aside from that, loved the game. Only nitpick I have is that the protagonist should really clip her nails. Before the first sex scene, I was convinced she was gonna be a bottom.
I thought it was pretty obvious that Katherine is harboring some buried feelings for MC, especially after knowing she was saved by him/her in the past, could have easily kicked their ass and then also that she doesn't push them away when you grope her, meaning that she definitely wants it. It still is a bit "rapey" if you want to look it that way, but there is nothing holding her back from rejecting it.

It felt to me a lot more like a freeze response. Think of it as an alternative to the more well-known fight-or-flight response. When sensing danger, your body freezes up and you can't act. In this case, even if normally Katherine would have been able to fight back, she would still have been unable to physically stop the protagonist. A lot of real-life rape happens like this.
The protagonist rationalizes that, since Katherine was able to fight off that guy in the alley, it surely must mean she could have fought her off when she touched her, so her consent is assumed. However, a person can have different responses to different people, especially when you consider that the protagonist is someone who Katherine has some deep-seated emotions for. So it does feel very much like rape to me.
If you're having sex with someone and they tell you to stop, even if they don't physically try to stop you, you stop.

While this is an interesting comment and i agree, IRL you are completely on the money, however this is BM, none of the characters, save perhaps CJ and Hannah are even remotely normal, Katie has specific history with the MC, it may not seem consensual but trust me, she is just as keen as Ellie or Jada, i suspect she would even see it as romantic to a degree, though she'd never admit to it.
Yes, the MC does rationalise it and that isn't exactly a good sign for the MC's mental stability but you need to remember most of the main cast are broken birds, that in a lot of ways is the point of the game, trying to unpick the trauma and work out how it will come good.
Is it rape, IRL of course it is, in game, no. It seems like it at the time to the player, it seems like it to the MC but i very much doubt Katherine saw it that way, she's been thinking about the MC in a heroic light for some time now, she is distant with her BF, she has issues with intimacy and frankly i doubt she's ever been the initiator for sex at all, if she has even had sex before, it wouldn't surprise me at all if she didn't have the largest baggage aside from Ellie in the game, psychologists, what can i say.
What i'm getting at is i highly doubt she'd know what to do with conventional advances let alone molestation, now add in the fact that she actually likes the person molesting her, she's going to go along with it.
Now the only way to be certain is to have it from the horses mouth and see what Recy says, but the guessing is half the fun with Katie.
