It's not "for no reason", it's because both girls are enslaved, and that now there's the grand mother.
You can solve that, there's one of the mod that let you free the girl, then enslave them back for free (I wonder which one ), but in this case, you don't need the event to have money.

I never said they were enslaved. I applied a new version one day and the cafe events just stopped.

Of course you don't need them, if you love grinding that is. If there's another way to get $4000 over two days that I don't know of, I invite any poster to share it. I'm sure the rest of us would like to know.

if you make the café owner AKA your boss your slave you will also not be able to do weekend event do to the cafe no longer being open she sells it to open the club downtown

You will see the values. Third one is money. Put some like 100000. Download the save file (blue button bottom of the page), copy in the Corruption 1.70 > game > saves folder and you are done.

It´s not a bug, it´s a feature...
No, really, I had me pestering this one, too.
You need to go through the mini game in the bar, that resets the club so that you can reopen the next day with the character you want.

Effectively, it's me who said it, because there's only four reasons that totally prevent to have the cafe scenes :

1. You don't have the maid dress, which is not possible since you already had the scenes ;
2. It's night time, but you surely have tested at other times of the day ;
3. It's not the week-end, but you surely have tested all the days ;
4. Neither Nicole nor Jenny must be enslaved.

There's also few badly handled impaired level of corruption for Jenny/Nicole. But it's not something new, it's a, more or less, one year old bug. Working in school giving you $2000/week, in one year you had largely enough time to earn enough and make them at the same level again at least once, seeing magically the scene appear again.
And now it would be even faster to achieve this.

You can works three times a day, therefore it's $6.000 that you can earn ; assuming that you never reached the moment when the three of them are at their max level and you earn $1.500/scene.

As for another way to get $6.000 over two days, there isn't one ; not even one to make $4.000 over two days. But It's not needed at all, because in fact you don't earn this over two days, but by week. And this is below the $10.500 you can make in a week by working at the fast food.

Wait for the next release that will update the campaign, and be patient, finishing the campaign will take a lot of time.

Since we've the possibility to have the support of the church, I assume that we can also have the support of the police station, the hospital and the school. The aunt is rich, her support can probably also be interesting, and there's also the casino and the TV station that can be an interesting support.
But to have one of those supports, we need to have finished to corrupt the location, so expect at least six months before the end of the campaign.

Go to Mayor and mayor home both portion raise corruption when its done then get church support.
