Yeah I liked Winter right from the early version I played she appeared. I wish there was a choice that we could make the MC not so hard on her. Especially going down Anti-hero minset. Now that his building up his Monster harem and taming. You'd think he be making htem his allies.
I just got to the event where Winter returned during the nigh (after her prison break ?) t and the MC is still butt hurt she killed and shit.. But I dont give a fuck what she did previously. There monsters, they do that.. When you tame/own them, then they kill for you. Is that simple. I kinda wished our monster harem would turn into our private army/minions. Winter cuold be the leader of them.. But then when MCs sucking their abilties dry, then they become uselss :/ I see MCs sucking ability more like a curse for this reason. Just look back on redmoon, Shes crippled.
In Winters case, she has been nice to him, treated him like an exception. All she wanted to do was mate, and she gave him good intel at the prison. At worst she just played around, but shes had no intent to kill him. She didnt really harm Erick either. MC still looks at her like some evil scum. Frustrates me. He doesnt have the forsight. That she could aid him alot.
I dont know if I would use the words butt hurt, but he would have been scared.
She had given him a beat down pretty bad and then to later show up in his bed at his home.
Imagine being woken up at night by someone who you fought earlier, regardless of winning or losing.
Your mind set wouldn't be right in that moment.
Yes, he should have eventually calmed down.
But being woken up in that way by someone saying they tracked your sent, would make your mind race.
Even if you were calm from it being Winter, your mind would still be racing about others able to track you.
Scaring you once again or even more, giving you a feeling of never safe.
As for the monster harem.
Its likely she will be the leader, as given her writing of coming back stronger.
However make note that hes teaching them to understand humans.
We dont know if this is to avoid humans and be free or be in a forever captured state (or rather put them living in that cave)
The whole cave thing could be an end game thing of an army we dont know yet.
However one thing to make note is Winter also said since being with the M.C. she also changed.
Its also worth noting as much as she views him extremely favorable, she hides information from him.
(talk to her in the dungeon, she refuses to speak about things)
His Ability taking doesn't remove it, we got roughly an idea of what he takes.
Its not all, but a portion of it so they still have, just weakened down to 60% of what it was, so the M.C. only gets 40% if I remember the numbers amount right.
Its not a curse, its a drain and even drains their energy for a set (never said yet) amount of time.
I'd assume its a few days at least.
(Also to note that, the recovery time is noticeable, that it concerns Erick about you stealing Hero's powers later on,
this is likely written in to let the player know they are still effected after a nights sleep.)
I think Winter does see him as "mate" material (so we agree on that) or possibly even hers which I'm slowly leaning towards.
Normally I use the option of that second fight when she has Erick, to surrender first, because I get a kick out of her saying
"are you for real!?" then to just fuck her after she has her fun.
When shes in control sexually she still comes across as kinda gentle to the M.C.
With her not harming Erick, I think if it had been someone else, she would kill them at that point.
But she doesn't want to harm or upset the M.C. , Erick is just to grab his attention.
That is why its Erick. He's being used as bait.
She probably smelled you faintly on him assuming you were friends (or something to that effect)
I dont really play as bad but I dont think he see's Winter as scum.
Mind you I play mostly as Hero/True hero.
So my memories are mostly of that.
If you play down right evil, he's just a murderous asshole.
Usually people like that will Justify their actions to any degree.
