im having problems with the audio (there is no sound/music/any audio). upon checking it seems to not be a problem with my pc or headphones but something in-game. i messed with the settings but there was no improvement. is there something i could possibly do to fix that problem?
Currently there is very little audio, only some scenes have SFX and/or music. I have found a few good tracks which I think would make good background music but they have yet to be added.

So, this is abandoned? Sad to see it go.
This is not abandoned, I assume it is an automatic tag after a period of no updates. I can honestly say I am still hard at work on the future of 2040.

That's great to hear! Maybe because the development thread also got quiet, I think 3 months without updates in development threads like subscribestar, dev blogs and such. 6 months without any update or communication of developer.

Not that it means much, but I do respect that you decided to take a large gap of time to develop this with a tiny subscriber base. You could've done what 98% of devs do here and limp along until you had a bunch of subscribers and go on vacation on a bed of cash.

Converting to blender means everything will look so different, I only want to unveil things when I think it is worth showing to avoid wrong impressions. I also understand the more time I take, the higher expectations will be. Some subscribers have been extremely patient and will be GOATed in when the time is right.
Second to last screenshot "someoneintrouble.jpg" is that scene in the game? Can't seem to find it.
