I just don't understand why every single animator does this "99% done" shit, and then nothing for months. Just say how it really is, nobody is going to tear their head off if they write 60% done instead.

If it's been in production for ages and only at 60%, people might drop their sub for a few months until the movie is out.
If it's always in a state of "almost done!", they'll just keep the sub up thinking that by next month it'll be out.

Basic tactic of keeping the client locked in, in pretty much any industry.

This is just a gif he posted to discord without any context but if I had to guess it's an upcoming short.

What's this about twitter? he usually just posts about stuff he's released or tell people to stop asking him for release dates because that shit is genuinely annoying so to anyone who is reading this STOP asking him for release dates.
