Every single dev I support on subscribestar was upfront with all the tags they were going to use, they didn't try to hide anything

I wasn't referring to this one in particular. Devs who deliberately mislead or avoid questions about tags will get no defense from me. I've seen a number of devs (I won't name names, I am sure you have seen it too) who are upfront and communicative and still cop unwarranted abuse because the game doesn't or does include a particular thing.

I have at least a few Developers on my mind who don't want to spoil their story, hence they don't reveal future tags and that's fine.

The truth is, on this website Developers owe you shit.
If you don't like premise of the game and/or Dev's explanations (personally for me he explained everything good enough) - just leave.

Though, people here instead of just leaving started bitching and pressuring Dev into changing his story.

So yeah, just like Avaron said - I don't blame Dev for leaving/ignoring the forum. Who wants to deal with shit?

Whoever tags those games now, it's not those developers. In fact, one of those developers, who is raking in money by the truckload, has been known to ban paying customers for even mentioning F95. I guess receiving death threats will do that to someone.

Evidently, there are a lot of weird developers out there who are creating popular games, raking in money, and yet shunning F95. Go figure.

There is always a point of diminishing returns, where the advantages of advertising one's game here meets the point where it is too stressful to read all the crap thrust at one. For each developer, that point is different. Some never reach it; some finally do, after years of posting; some surrender earlier. But, whether someone has a thick skin or a thin skin has almost nothing to do with the quality of the work.

Seems to me that everybody has gotten their knickers in a twist, the point is, the Dev doesn't have to share anything with us here, if you don't like the game, delete it and that's that, but no. Some here think it is their moral duty to preach about certain aspects of games, for heavens sake, it is fiction. If you don't like certain fetishes, that is your point of view, but there are those who like the extreme stuff, this is not that extreme. Now go away, drink a cup of your favourite beverage, and calm down

In the end, none of those traits mattered, did they?

But, he survived the shit-storm that resulted after he had the house torched, and his next game has made him rich enough to be the envy and inspiration for all other developers who think they could also get rich writing AVNs. And all while never posting on or mentioning F95 again.

By the way, even if a developer abandons F95, the advertisement value of this site doesn't stop. The BADIK thread currently has over 1500 pages of posts, and the developer has not posted there even once.

Nope, not a thing. The only decisions before the house fire were what to call the Blackmobile and who to bang. Nothing else mattered at all.

Nobodies asking for plot details, revealing a single will not spoil the story, that's ridiculous. We won't what the tag is referring to just that it will be there, that's why we ask.
