Its honestly stupid easy for most of the cases its just drop win file into SDK folder.
Start SDK. click game "build distributions" select Win/Linux or just linux. Build. wait.
Yeah - I need the SDK to do that. I don't have much of a reason for it. As I said, I could play with it, but most games come with it. The only ones I usually have issues with is Unity.

This looks like it could be really good. Zombie apocalypse stories are always fun.

The only thing that gives me caution is, this is going to be a sandbox with resource management. The dev is a first timer, and they are going to go with that? Just feels like it is going to get overcomplicated and become a grind.

If this was going to purely be a VN, then awesome. Sounds great. But with the future implementation of a sandbox and resource grind/management, it's going to be extremely annoying. Can't stand sandboxes (because they are never done well), so I don't have high hopes for this one being better.

Still, wish you the best of luck with this and thanks. :)

Yeah, going to have to agree, it sounds better as a VN, only tried out the prologue because it's not a sandbox.

Good potential and will be keeping tabs on it for more updates. I do agree that doing a sandbox + resource management usually does not end well for first time developers, too complicated and requires detailed calibration for the whole thing to work.

Usually, I skip on commenting about the game on the first release. Normally just stating if the game looks interesting or not before playing it. However, after playing this. I had to comment. I'm digging it a lot. Don't know why I see the NTR comments in thread. I didn't see any NTR and if it's in reference to the blonde. She dies, at least in my playthrough. So I don't know why anyone would get attached to her. MC only knows her for a handful of minutes.

Anyway, this game delivered for me. The world is brutal. As shown by said rape scene. Our choices seem to matter, currently. Then there's the multiple paths that were shown at the end. The second path looking to be my go to next update. Though path one looking good as well.

I would say this game lived up to my own expectations for what I want in a zombie game. Thankfully, the MC also wasn't a crybaby, contrary to his looks. Makes the setting more enjoyable when the MC acknowledges the danger, but doesn't cower in fear. And with that, I'm definitely looking forward to the future of this game.

Hello, I am the developer of this game. I’m not very good at conversations, but I’ll do my best. I appreciate all the feedback, and I’ll use it to improve the game in future updates.

This game is in a very early access stage, which means many systems are not implemented yet:

  • GUI design: Not yet designed.
  • Choices affecting character stats: Not yet written.
  • Sound: Channel settings for adjustments are not yet implemented.
  • Many other features are still in the planning, designing, or writing phase and need further work.
I decided to release this first version to gather initial feedback, and I will gradually fix issues and add more content in future updates.

Thank you for all your support, and I’ll work on improving the game based on your feedback in the future.

So far I think the story and setting are well-received, so it's off to a good start.

However, I note you have not figured out a lot of basic stuff for even a straight forward visual novel, so I hope you will reconsider your intentions to do a sandbox + resource management game. From my observations, most first time novice developers who are still figuring out even basic Renpy don't end up too well when they try to do a complex system on their first try.

If your game is targeted at some sort of niche fetish or loaded with lewd scenes for a quick fap, then it doesn't matter what gaming mechanics you adopt because players won't care too much as they can always mod or download full saves. That's not the case for 60D.

The story you have shows great promise even as a visual novel, I would caution taking on additional risks when you are still figuring out the ropes. Sandbox and resource management introduce significant coding and UI complexities and calibration that are often underestimated.

Now this is what I call a zombie apocalypse game. It really showed the zombie outbreak and horror of it. There's sound effects too. Hope dev won't make it too grindy by adding sandbox part
