Just out of curiosity, why Johnny? I mean I know it's a parody but... Johnny? FF7 is damn near sacred to some people so if your goal was to make a game that people enjoy and potentially net you some cash, Johnny just seems like a weird option. Even for a parody. Will be interesting to see where you take the story though. Good luck!

I felt he was a funny choice for a character in this game and I've always liked his character. I understand some people really hold FF7 tight to their hearts. I get Johnny's not the favorite for some and to that I'll just say that this game isn't for you then. I hope you can all see past Johnny and enjoy the rest of it but if that's the not the case. Thank you for giving my game a chance and for the feedback. I'm really just making this game to learn some coding, make some sexy jokes and to finish a side project I've had in my head for years. My patreon is only to there to supplement my time taken away from freelance to work on this.

Phazyn, I played through the 0.2b update.
I used a 0.1 save from the Jaclyn threesome, but ran into an error following the "We're gonna blow up the reactor" briefing.
I restarted since the game is so short, and I assume old saves aren't meant to be compatible, but have you thought about future-proofing saves so that the player won't have to replay the game from the beginning when a new update drops?
When you're a bunch of updates into development, it's going to be less appealing for players to skip through all the old content again to get to the new stuff.
One thing I feel I need to praise is your ability to write seductive, erotic text. Not only are the women curvy and pleasing to the eye, but the descriptions and dialogue oozes sexiness as well. The encounter with the bee prostitute was brilliant and absurdly seductive. I loved the menu and how she worked us like a pro. Please tell me we'll be able to return and wasteTifa's our hard-earned gil on her in the future?
One complaint I have is that Tifa's first striptease should have had more of a tease involved, and have it be a full-blown event. Where you stand behind the bar and watch her pull her shirt up for the first time, letting her heavy melons drop one after the other for all the bar to see.
I realize this may just be a preview of her strip art from the next update, however.

The only characters I knew about beforehand were spike-hair, gun-arm and suspender-tits. Since this apparently takes place before spike-hair goes through character creation, Johnny just gives off an OC vibe I suppose, being a handsome guy who goes around fucking everything that moves.

I guess most dont encounter Johnny at the start of FF7 like I did. I always thought his story was sort of interesting. This guy obsessed with Tifa that leaves to go travel the world. I wanted to flesh that out more. The whole sexy guy that gets to fuck everything IS incredibly Mary Sue in terms of writing but I actively write it as a joke and get to the sex faster. I dont see johnny as a particularly heroic or valiant character. I see him just going along with it because barret will hurt him and because he's in love with Tifa.
About future proofing the game, the need to restart from new every update is a fault of me being new to renpy program. For update 0.3 I'm going to make an active effort to future proof the game going forward. There's just some clean coding tenets I never knew of.
The Tifa stripping event is supposed to be something more eventful. In fact it is a whole event on it's own. I guess this was a by product of where I decided to cut off the 0.2 update. 0.3 starts with this.
Thank you for the compliments on the sexy writing. I always find other porn games skip this part of the Visual novel writing and just let the visuals do the heavy lifting. I feel like both can work in tandem to help. The balance is pacing it out right. You will be able to return to the HBI and visit the girls and guys again. More story will happen there later.

Thank you for the kindness! I like to keep things positive in my life. Sometimes people will make criticisms that come across as mean spirited. That doesn't necessarily mean there isn't validity in their criticism despite the negativity. I've been working in the entertainment industry for so long now that you learn to take what is useful and adapt it to the vision. I'm not going to please everyone and I don't try to. And sometimes things don't work exactly as you plan. I leave my Ego aside and just be proud of what I make. I'm not in it for the fame or the cash (though both are nice at times) I just hope you all enjoy what I make.

Hello there! Checked out your demo and it's fantastic. I read somewhere that your demo doesn't represent your current progress on the game and that it's like a teaser. If it's true, when do you plan to release the full game?
