Strictly speaking, it is more a problem of the forum definition, and not least of all, what the players think they understand by NTR. The classic NTR, as we think we know it, includes netori and netorare. But in the Far East, where NTR actually comes from, the word "cuckold" doesn't even exist. There it is also considered NTR. That and many other things.
If we now add our own vocabulary to all the details, we could easily get 6 vocabulary words or more. And many people won't even understand it anymore. The community here often can't even tell the difference between cuckold and cheating. The bad thing is that many people don't even want to understand it, they just insist on their opinion, so that the attempt to explain it is often doomed to failure from the start. So I think trying to do that will not bring clarity, but only more confusion and conflict.
I'm lucky enough to be able to appreciate all aspects of it. So if I see a game that is tagged with "NTR" and it arouses my interest at first glance, I take a look and see what's really in it. I haven't argued about the vocabulary for a long time.
