moskyx Dark Prince 19 ; fair points, what if, lets say the arousal, and repressed libido, from the girls and MC opens the path for the "dark side" or makes them "trackable by the Tenebris"? using the aura scale of the ring, then the sex would be justyfied, as for closing the weakness, or become a good deed since it helps them to keep their cover.
They could learn it trough the IT specialist, meanwhile the Action in the Vatican goes on.

Having the ring charged by having sex would be like the cheapest trope ever (in fact, I thought this idea was one of the first discarded ones as it sounds like the most obvious setting for a porn game). Also, it assumes having a good time with girls is doing a good deed, which would need an explanation since sex is not something they seem to need: Maddie needed a roof for the first night, Sadie needed a job, her mom needed some money, even Danny needed her tips, and all of them appreciate some kind words (I'm just stating the main choices that led to a ring's charge). Who needs sex, though? And, more importantly, it does not exactly solve the main problem: when and how do you fit those scenes in the current narrative?

Exactly.

For a cheap silly fap game like The Professor it would have been perfect.
For a supernatural thriller/horror/whateveryouwanttocallit serious story driven game? Not so much.

In any case with the new companion game AFAS - GOING TO HELL there's no reason to twist the story like a pretzel trying to sneak some fap in.

Speaking of companion games, it's chugging right along and I have to admit I'm having fun with it. Danny's paths are the first to be explored in the what/if alternative timelines.

I honestly wouldn't be forgiving the trigger happy karina if the story and the game didnt reward you for it,
It is like killing someone and saying oppsie sorry "i was scared" , if your first thought is to kill someone at the slightest of doubts you dont belong there and now that the mc surivird she should have been made to give half her life in reparations or block her memory n toss her out.

So.. there's a few of us who talk with Pixieblink every month.. We proofread.. we critique.. we offer thoughts and ideas. I've enjoyed the interaction immensely.. Few Devs I've interacted with have the level of engagement that he does. He puts out content each and every month like clockwork. This game has turned out to be a bit harder to toss in as much of the lewd as he would like without breaking the immersion. That doesn't mean he's not going to put it in.. it just means that it's harder to find the right spots. Sometimes it's an easy flow.. like the healer's interaction. But I do understand both sides of the story. The game's dynamics are ever changing and that means there is ebb and flow. It's not the same type of game as 'The Joob-Joob which has oodles of XXX factor in it. Hell I'm just happy for Pixieblink in the fact that he's been able to upgrade his equipment and bring us more in the future with the level of support he's achieved so far. The game's not over and I can't wait to see where he takes us next.. yeah, I rambled a bit but hey I just wanted to give the man some credit for what he's doing and has done so far.. You keep doing you Pixie.. I'm enjoying the ride.

This game has turned out to be a bit harder to toss in as much of the lewd as he would like without breaking the immersion. That doesn't mean he's not going to put it in.. it just means that it's harder to find the right spots.

I might be a minority here but for me that is a sign of quality. From my point of view every truly great AVN should be enjoyable and conclusive even if you take every single lewd scene away. That is how I played Father's Sins the third time around when it was all censored. I admit that I was slightly annoyed by this crude way of censorship but still very much enjoyed the writing and plot, some of the characters are extremely memorable and I will miss them when this VN is complete. In my opinion there is no other AVN that is quite like this one. Some of the animations are really unique, many characters are well written and developed over several chapters and the plot remains mysterious and exciting.

There is really no need to squeeze lewdness in there just for the sake of pleasing viewers. Like, why would you take so much time to carefully build up characters only for them to fall victim to the ring? Something that could have happened on day one and has had no buildup at all?

It gets here about 10 days or so after a chapter including a new censored scene comes out. So in this case the last uncensoring patch was released back in April:

Just put together what you experienced.

(NOTE: i don't accuse anyone for anything - i just put some facts - so everyone should do his own thoughts about that)

1.) Lewd scenes were promised, though not that many because of the story (QUOTE: "Though there will be plenty in there")
2.) There were lewd scenes which were censored
3.) The dev complained about the lack of support on patreon (why he tried to censor lewd scenes to force people to support on patreon)
4.) There was a rage about censored scenes after that
5.) There are no new censored scenes
6.) But now there is announced that there will be nearly no lewd scenes at all because of the story, but there will be an alternative timeline containing all the lewd scenes, which suddenly don't fit in the story as planned anymore
7.) of COURSE that "spin-off" will be for patreons only, which is again basically the same as censored scenes ingame now.

Big difference is, that now people hype the glorious idea to take the lewds out because of the "immersion of the story" and to sell the basically censored scenes as "wanted giveaway" in a seperate game.
Sadly people don't want to see what's MAYBE (!!!) really going on.

I ADMIT that i might be wrong, but looking on the history of this game and looking on what already happened, it smells at least a little fishy for me.

Now it's on each to decide for yourself how to interpret!
