Agree to disagree? If the guy wants to do a game with management mechanics I am only to willing to support them in my own way in their endeavor. There are enough normal VNs. (Though maybe not enough with Futa MC to satisfy all the variations of kinks out there.)I feel like the author should just scrap the whole "food" stuff (ingredients, recipes, hunger, etc) and focus on plot and scene development.
Being honest, if it wasn't because it's clear that the author wants to focus on the management part of the game (sending characters to work, money, etc) I would say to scrap all of that too. Having to focus on that just takes away too much from the game.
It would be less of a pain for both the author and the player and would let the game finally grow.
Yes what they want to do is hard to do, but there is also a demand for that. The more people tackle that kind of game the more we collectively will learn from it making those games better. I like management games for the most part. I feel that refreshing from the normal VN. some may call it padding, but to me that is not padding that is the product. The sex is the reward at the end. Food, money, mood, time, and other features are what distinguish that game from others.
I even like some minigame in my porn and seeing what Misamor has managed to do I am willing to try what they will come up with. It might be obnoxious but they have proven that they are willing to listen to feedback to make it more interesting until it hit a great spot.
The only thing I want to point out about minigames, and I think we can all agree on that, is that if we have to focus on them instead of the sex that is happening at the same time we feel robed of our reward for our work. Convenant of Morn has separated it's mini games from the sex and it works great IMO. The only game I've played that managed to mix sex and minigames and make it enjoyable is Harmony girls. In that game the video making game is not on a timer and can leave enough freedom for the player to enjoy their time while doing it.
To me the fact that you want more plot and story development only shows that you like the art direction and what is there of the story. I agree that I want a bit more of that, but for me it is the other way around. I am playing this game mainly for the game part. The sex and story is the cherry on top.
