A House In The Rift [v0.5.0r1] Zanith

Original Size Win/Linux: 3.05 GB

Compressed Size Win/Linux: 1.73 GB: MEGA

Note: Best way to download from MEGA and avoid the Download Limit is by using MEGA App, MEGAsync.

This compression is unofficial. Compressing process reduces image/audio/video quality and can break the game, be aware of that.

You can find all of my Walkthrough Mods content here:

Or you can:
Sorry for being a bother, but could you perhaps arrange an alternate link or divide it in packages?
MEGAsync just doesn't work for me.

You know I just started this game, and I am bothered that Rea, appreciated the honesty up front that MC didn't know anything about being there or of magic, but as soon as Naomi arrives, she says "we must lie to her, (can't trust her right away)". What a bitch!! (It's because she's black, isn't it?)
Lot of comments on this. Why should we lie to Naomi?
Azraesha attacked the MC thinking that he had kidnapped her to this house and was essentially hostile and guarded until she understood what was going on.
The MC was, fortunately, immune to magical attack.
Naomi is likely to have a similar reaction, thinking that she has been kidnapped and similarly respond but physically. There is no reason to believe that the MC is immune to physical attack.
Keeping knowledge of the situation from Naomi until it can be reasonably certain that she won't attack seems prudent.

Or you can just read race into anything. Is Naomi black? Is she tanned? Does it matter?

Ok, I said I would let this go, and I am NOT trying to start anything. But just because you asked and I DO want to clarify some things.
My issue is that Rae shows appreciation for honesty (by giving intimacy points), yes she attacked MC right off the bat, but at least she apologized for that. She apologized for douting him telling the truth. MC has the option to be honest with Naomi, but Rae shuts him down and he just folds. What does "She looks like a commoner" even mean? Does MC look like a commoner? Later when Naomi says she figured it all out, Rae questions her about why she didn't tell them she knew. And never says she was wrong for that choice. Naomi is also the only one Rae decided to lie too. (Although, she was the first to arrive.)
As for Naomi questions
"Is she black?"
Maybe I am just wrong but later she says "my skin is Black."
"Is she tan?"
She very well may be. And that removes the race question, (if only for convenience).
"Does it matter?"
Nothing matters, when you are playing a porn game just for the sex.
If you are trying to get into the story. Racial inequality always matters. (But again there may not be any thing racial about it, that was just what I perceived, maybe no one else did.)
Now I just rolled my eyes and play the game because I like the sex scenes. (But I have a slight distrust, or angst with Rae now. And can't find affection for her) this is just my problem.

I am truly sorry guys. All the "Facepalm" emogi's I am getting on my comments tells me I am making too much out of nothing. And anyone that didn't have a problem with this interaction can just ignore me and go on enjoying the game. But I said what I said, and anyone who has tried to convince me that the way I see this back and forth is wrong, has not done it. So keep playing the game and have fun.

Edit: if there was one line, maybe when they are sitting on the couch talking about this where Rae says to Naomi: " I am sorry for not trusting you at the begining. I was wrong for that." That would change the whole game for me.
NOT that I expect the developer to change the whole game for little me.
Just saying.

I mean for what it's worth, I think you have a point.
I do not remember all the details but if she didn't apologize for what she did well that's a point against her.

If you bothered to pay attention to the game she wasn't honest with the MC at first either not only that her people had been through a genocide leaving only a few thousand out of hundreds of millions
This whole business actually bothers me about Rae. She goes on about her people were unjustly persecuted and nearly wiped out, and then in a different conversation practically brags about how they once conquered numerous worlds and enslaved the populace because they are superior beings. Outside of this business I actually love the character of Rae, but I find it deeply disturbing how she seems to have no ability to comprehend the fact that her kind were definitely not innocent.

I'm sure after world war 2, there was some Germans who felt they were pursicuted simply because there people tried to unite the world in the past...

That was a joke, but think about it

Perhaps if you had just talked about what Rae actually said people would have been more willing to discuss it, but you tried to make it about race, and most people have a very dim view of people who try to make everything about race.

Personally I ignored her and told Naomi the truth, which is a valid option even if there are a few places the game doesn't take it into account. I'm not going to be harsh on Rae for this slight hypocrisy though, remember that before we met her she was a spy. The truth doesn't come easily to her, as we can see by how she tried to fool us, and assumed that we were playing her if we were honest with her about not being a wizard. Learning to trust people is part of her character arc, in fact it's the name of her character arc.

That's kind of a bad example since there was a purge of ethnic Germans after the war.

EXTEMELY minor (& insignificant) gripe, but the knives/daggers the orcs use in the duel scene are backwards

You mean what the Adventure Princes did. They were warlords that acted on their own (if I remember correctly she even mentions that) yeah some of them were rotten bastards and she did seem a little boastful but she said when they started falling one by one that they never went to their aid which makes it clear that they were renegades and what they were doing wasn't supported or condoned. It wasn't her people in general that did those things otherwise they would've reacted long before the war was brought to their homeworld. It was a few rotten apples that conquered and enslaved.
Basically what your saying is that her entire species is responsible for what a few rogue bastards did. That train of thought sounds familiar.

When she mentioned what the Adventure Princes did that was an acknowledgement of the crimes some of her people did. She could've made it sound like they were benevolent rulers guiding or protecting the weak that were turned on by ungrateful people or not even mention it at all.

We have very different takes on what she said.

When I said she sounded like she was bragging I was referring to the conquering, the enslaving, and the belief that her kind are superior. I wasn't referring to the Princes being defeated. In fact in regards to the princes being defeated she didn't sound at all like she cared what they did to me. Her only comment was that they were too weak to hold on to what they had, and the manner in which it was said sounded to me like she didn't care about what they did, only about their strength and being superior.

As for her homeworld or the princes being renegades there was nothing to even suggest that they were any different, or that the princes were renegades or their actions not condoned. In fact she sounded proud of it all, like she was talking about an empire rather then a renegade faction. There was no acknowledgement of their crimes at all. You say her people would have reacted long before the war was brought to the homeworld if the actions were condoned, however RL history proves this wrong. Nearly every empire has at some point believed themselves superior and not reacted straight away when conquered provinces started falling to local rebellions. In several cases (for example, the Romans) it was literally said word for word "they are too weak to hold on to what they have".

Hundreds of leaders and their armies can hardly be described as "... a few rogue bastards...".

I don't think we are going to be able to agree on this. If it was, as you suggest, a few renegades then I would be in agreement that they were not completely at fault, though it doesn't excuse them doing absolutely nothing about it. However that is not the situation that was described. Rae described it as hundreds of worlds conquered by the princes and their followers.

To clarify: I'm not saying they deserved genocide. I'm saying they were not innocent as she originally claimed.

I agree 100% I read it just like you. I also don't think they deserved genocide. I also don't think her people are all innocent of a few bad actors. I believe she even said that they may have earned some of the animosity towards themselves.
I just feel that she can't be looked at as a poor innocent, harmless demon. That all others have treated wrong. This doesn't make her better then others.

Skankhunt 4 2 0 for me it is the best, but an other good one that needs mentioning for the quality of animation is The Headmaster, tho I Think it is Illusion engein not HS even if somme preset animations are the same, so I'm not sure. What sets AHITR apart is the camera work witch is flawless.

Botomline, they are both great games with great animations.
