Doesn't change a thing: the core gameplay loop still requires a specific combination of people + daytime + room to advance a plotline, all dictated solely by RNG, and you just don't notice it as much if you e.g. start a new playthrough as you will have a lot of open plotlines that advance at a rapid pace.In the finished game there will probably more be running in parallel because while it still is Monday and Blair hasn't anything until Saturday, there is still open stuff with Cait and Rae, as an example, which you can do in the meantime.
The fix is already present to some degree, but rather half-assed: you can tell some girls to move to a specific room, but for some reason that doesn't apply to all girls, nor all rooms, nor can you move 2 girls into the same room that way and it also doesn't take into account the daytime, e.g. telling a girl to move into the kitchen in the afternoon even though it's currently morning.
Doing it that way enables the end-user to easily easily force the advancement of plotlines while staying true to the tone and themes of the game.
