I actually have a very slight problem with this, but for another reason, it doesn't really impact my enjoyment of the game but i'd be lying if i said it didn't break immersion a bit.Every new update kind of confirms for me that, no matter how you feel about the other girls, Rae is kind of your soul-mate and the "head wife" and mother figure to all of the others. I have no problem with this as she is absolutely my favorite (probably because of those factors ). This isn't truly a "pick your LI" game, there is (seems to be) a directed plot with defined relationships, but you get to choose how much interaction you want with the "side" girls. If I could only pick one, it would be Rae. If I can have a harem, I would pick some of the others as well and wave "good riddance" to some.
Just my take on the situation.
Even though it falls pretty much in my lap the way I want it, I fully agree with what you're saying. To be honest, Naomi and Yona could have been left out as far as I'm concerned....just my preference. I interact with them as little as possible, yet conversations happen that make it seem like Naomi and I are knocking boots constantly, or that I'm slobbering over her .I actually have a very slight problem with this, but for another reason, it doesn't really impact my enjoyment of the game but i'd be lying if i said it didn't break immersion a bit.
I'm talking about the fact that, no matter how you feel about the other girls (as you pointed out), there's always the ongoing implication that you're bedding them all, even though you're maybe going out of your way to avoid sexual encounters with some of them and just want to stay friends, this usually happens during multiple-girls events when sexual innuendos jokes start to get out.
It is true that you get to choose how much interactions you have with them, but at the heart of the plot it is an harem game with no one excluded.
Ofc i realize it would be a pain in the ass to track all the possible interactions and change the dialogue accordingly (for example ignoring Cait would mean having to get rid of a lot of sexual teasing to her by Rae, and that doesn't seem feasible at all, ignoring the latter even more so), it would end becoming a different game.
But you know, i can't help but feel that i would have appreciated it a lot if the game took note if i made it clear i wasn't romantically interested in some girls, or if i had a clear favorite among them, or even if was going out of my way to be with one girl only.
For example when Yona talks about Rae being the head-wife, there's no option to confirm or deny it, because in the story she IS the head-wife, even if you personally care more for another girl, or the fact that Rae speaks in a way that implies you're getting it on with everyone in the house despite the fact that maybe in your save you've only been with her, on purpose since in the actual plot there seems to be no way that it would actually happen.
This is just a rant on personal preference however, i love the game i still think it's one of the best on this site despite all the minor complaints i could have about it.
The only thing i hope is that there's gonna be solo endings and not just a fixed big harem ending, so that you can finally clearly express your preference if had one.
Yes pretty much, it seems we are in a similar situation, i actually started thinking the way i do about the relationships in the house exactly because i was avoiding sexual interactions with Naomi and Yona but the game would occasionally throw in a line of dialogue that would imply i was having them anyway.Even though it falls pretty much in my lap the way I want it, I fully agree with what you're saying. This isn't a "pick your waifu" solo path story, or even a traditional harem story - you are kind of directed on to a path due to the nature of the situation (being trapped in the house) and the fact that Rae is the only one with the knowledge and magic to help and teach you. A lot of that wasn't obvious to me until later in the game. I have noticed that recently we've been given some choices that give me the feeling that, if there is a solo path ending available, it doesn't have to be with Rae.

of course I said "OH HELL YEAH BABY!!"
So you think the MC owns Rae and he can decide for her if she gets to live in the human world or not? If you've been playing an asshole MC then sure, he could just not allow it but if not then his only choice at the end should be if he's going to share her now limited lifespan or if he's just going to help her get setup.if the main character really loved rae, he would not let her do it.
Definitely agree about the path concept. I found the physical contact between pirate/brainy girl at the start as a bit weird considering MC couldn't put a stop to it.. later on when I realized it's because she has motherly instincts and cares for brainy girl in that way that I was more okay with it..This isn't a "pick your waifu" solo path story, or even a traditional harem story - you are kind of directed on to a path due to the nature of the situation (being trapped in the house)"
So my thinking is..Like I said, a harem ending is likely, but if we do end up with just one girl in the end, the build up has been there, along with the motivation and the relationship.
Other examples include Yona reading a book before she has agreed to learn, Caitlin talking about chlorine well before she mentions learning about it. Some of these things could definitely be fixed (the code is already quite complex at handling variables during the Hang Outs) without changing things but I do agree that certain things would change the impact of the story. That said it would be nice of the dev would just make a decision and either force certain interactions OR modify the dialog at the cost of the story. Other games do this and it's not so bad.. at least in that case you know you're decision is making you miss out on certain things but it doesn't break immersion if you do so.Ofc i realize it would be a pain in the ass to track all the possible interactions and change the dialogue accordingly (for example ignoring Cait would mean having to get rid of a lot of sexual teasing to her by Rae, and that doesn't seem feasible at all, ignoring the latter even more so), it would end becoming a different game.
I was looking at and trying to read books for 10 years before I could kinda read them. Yes I have dyslexia and still have trouble spelling/readingOther examples include Yona reading a book before she has agreed to learn
I spent 15 year's talking about Computer languages before I learn't any.Caitlin talking about chlorine well before she mentions learning about it
If I'm not mistaken it's a scene where you hang out with your sister's friend by the pool and have to pick her mother over her or something. I think it's the same time you get the "poolside cheer" one.Missing one scene in the Misc gallery, between poolside cheer anf barmaid madalina. Anyone know what I have to do for it?
Yap, those two are mutually exclusive (apart of course from playing multiple playthroughs or saving and reloading at said spot). If I'm not mistaken it's a scene where you hang out with your sister's friend by the pool and have to pick her mother over her or something. I think it's the same time you get the "poolside cheer" one.
I might be wrong though, it's been quite a while.
How do you activate the Halloween Event? To anyone wanting a walkthrough for the Halloween dream, I found these five scenes using these exact steps:

Initially I kept dying and dying and dying myself thinking you could only explore the mansion and end up being killed in different ways, but today I learned there were also lewd scenes hidden in there. So if you do keep ending in the same loops and are stuck, see the above spoiler. Hope this helps someone
EDIT
Updated for v0.5.11r1
16-11-2021: updated the Yona path slightly, I made a slight error which is now fixed
